Beta version v6.3.90 for Z9X release

I also have a CEC problem. Z9X direct with HDMI to Sony XH90. Before this update it worked fine. With this beta everytime when I turn on the TV it wakes Z9X. I don't use option "TV wake up media player", but it keeps on. The only solution is to turn off completely CEC. Can I row back to previous version?

 

HDMI CEC same behaviour with an amp Denon 3500 and LG B6 OLED for this version as the previous ones:

only power on and off works is hdmi cec
Volume buttons on remote keep not working at all. There is no even display of anything on screen when pressing the volume controls up down.

Same for my Denon 3500 and LG B6, pretty normal models.

Just created a dummy folder and file called "Appetite for democracy - Live at the Hard Rock Casino, Las Vegas" and HT4 found it straight away:

Long time was using 6.3.60 with no visible problem, but updating to .75 introduced certain HDMI-CEC problem, which still remains in .90. In short: LG OLED HDMI1 has Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max, HDMI2 connected to the Marantz SR6012 AV-receiver with Z9X connected to it. Zidoo's remote has AV's buttons cloned (power, volume and Zidoo input switch).
While I was on .60, pressing "Zidoo input switch" button on Z9X's remote was switching receiever to Zidoo input and TV to HDMI2 input regardless of TV's and receiver's tasks before. After ->.75 and -> .90 later pressing same "Zidoo input switch" button does NOT change TV's input to HDMI2, it stays on HDMI1 with AFTV Stick unless I manually rotate receiver's input switching knob. It's like TV doesn't realise it has a signal from Zidoo's receiver input, unless it's pushed forcefully by hand although I see receiver itself set to "Zidoo" input. No configuration or setting has been changed in my TV/AV setup for a long time.

What can I do to test it further? It's started really bugging me off.

 

HDMI knows address based commands and broadcast commands the later go to the entire bus (all HDMI devices interconnected directly or indirectly).

I feel Zidoo needs to look into these details.

You must have still have "demo" set as a keyword to ignore during scanning.

Remove "demo" in HT4/Settings/Preferences/Ignore folders and file names with specific characters when scanning.

Yup. It reminds me of the earlier firmwares with massive HDMI CEC problems that required physically blocking the HDMI CEC pin completely to make tolerable.
