Hi,

What's the problem :

When playing a video file through SMB (UHD MKV remux, good file), playback suddenly freezes after a while (can be 30 minutes, can be 60 minutes, it's random).
The picture remains frozen, no more sound, LCD screen on the unit keeps clocking. I can toggle all functions (change audio track, browse the timeline) but nothing happens. I can quit the video (hitting stop on the remote), but just can't resume playback. It either displays a "can't read the video file"...

I've finally found a way to control Zidoo's fan over network. Since the API does not support controlling the fan speed, this took a bit more effort to make it working. But it is doable over a Android ADB connection. So you need installed ADB tools on the automation system sending the command. Once the ADB connection is open, you can:

Hi to everyone!

I'm planing to buy AIO device and currently the choice is between WiiM Amp Ultra and Eversolo Play (non CD version).

I need some clarifications regarding Eversolo for which I cannot find reliable answers in Internet.

Based on some Internet research I see that Eversolo is not releasing the HDMI ARC if it is switched to another input. In order to release the HDMI, it should be powered cycled. Until that the TV keeps routing the signal to the HDMI receiver.

Hi all, newbie here so please forgive me if this has already been answered. I just purchased this machine to replace an old Nvidia Shield Pro tv and while it works perfectly with my LG Oled it keeps switching off and back on again when paired with my Valerion Visionmaster Plus 2 projector. This works with or without playing a file or even attaching a usb drive. I've swapped out the HDMI cable and tried different HDMI sockets on the projector but to no avail. Can anyone please advise me...

Hello!

I am upgrading from a Sony HAP player and I received my A6 just this afternoon. I did some searches around in this forum and I didn't find anything about this particular issue, so I hope it is not a repeat.

On getting it turned on it went through several differential firmware updates to v1.5.75. Once I was through that process, I tested out ripping from a powered, external CD-rom drive. The actual ripping part seems to be working fine and it finds the names and artwork fine....

newbie: ripping problem. Is this a known issue?

Hello to all,
I bought my T8 3 weeks ago and already tried it with two power cables in my system: Kimber Kable PK10 Ascent and Analysis Plus Power Oval 10, both 10AWG, medium priced. Analysis Plus seems to work better, with more clarity and better bass integration than Kimber.
Has anyone tried other combinations of power cables and which was more successful in your system?

Eversolo A6 - Tidal problem

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I get the impression that when I log into TIDAL on Eversolo, I get a homepage that is completely unrelated to what I’m currently listening to.
It looks like only content recommended by some random source is reaching me.
Playlists and albums work normally, only the home page shows something completely different than, for example, on my phone when I'm logged in.

With Windows 11 Home Edition (64) with latest updates, has anyone successfully managed to get the icon to be working from the NETWORK location?

I have had to network map the drive so as to be able to see it. All my other network devices are showing up, but NOT this one. There is an icon there, but clicking on it brings up a message saying unsecured webpage, and it ends there.

I have done some research by reading through the posts, which is how I managed to map the drive as a last resort....

Eversolo confirmed HW issues reported with the early DMP-A6 Gen 2 units produced:
- The unit may fail to power-on after a (short) period of use or the unit may produce nasty sounds when in standby (very few cases). All reports occurred within the warranty period and Eversolo is fully informed/aware. Cause and fix details are not revealed and most likely never will be. The only aspect well-known for sure is that it is PSU related as some claims just received a replacement PSU solving...

Hi,

I'm experiencing an issue with Spotify Connect on my T8 since updating to the latest firmware (V1.5.62)

Setup:
- Eversolo T8 > DAC-Z10 (via I2S) > Luxman L-509Z
- T8 connected via wired Gigabit Ethernet
- Spotify Connect initiated from iPhone (latest iOS/Spotify app)
- Spotify Premium account, lossless enabled

Issue:
Spotify Connect playback stops after 1-2 songs. The stream simply drops with no error message on the T8 or on the phone. I have to manually reconnect from the Spotify app...

SETUP

Using a Zidoo Z9X Pro 4K connected via USB to a Seagate Expansion 24TB External HDD since Nov 2025. No issues.
To add content to Seagate I connect it to MacBook Pro via USB and copy MKV files over.
I plug Seagate back into the Zidoo and watch the newly copied content.

ISSUE

Yesterday, when Seagate was plugged into MacBook, I saw several hundred MKV files that said "zero bytes". Couldn't open the files. A lot of these files played...

I'm importing an m3u playlist to play my favorite tracks. Some of those tracks are on SACD isos. Is it possible to reference specific tracks or even layers on a SACD ISO in this string? :
