Thanks! Still no word 0n trailers, audio delay and manually marking individual TV episodes as watched? And 40 min to download a 775Mb file is accessive.

 

You can use Internet Download Manager to download. Just a few seconds on 300mbps fibre.

It took me 5 min to download.

The change list looks very promising as I do clearly recognize various problems here.
Will test the _G version including accessing the Google Play Store and using the Picture/Image Player

Access to Google Play Store:
- One way or another my GSF ID was changed. I keep track of this per player and had to add a new/extra one for my Z9X.
- Still getting the error of not being certified, but when I go to "manage your account" I do get access.

Item-22 on aggregated list: No play with no error when trying to play SACD MCH only DSF/DFF/ISO track or album.
Solved and now marked green.

Item-26 on aggregated list: Single track album WAV with a CUE sheet included will result in gaps between tracks being created.
Not solved but at least the gaps now occur at the start of the individual tracks. The red marking hence is removed.

Item-30 on aggregated list: HDMI-CEC testing with a TV+AMP setup:
- YES the player now auto switches the AMP HDMI port selected to the players designated port during power-on.
- Setting synchronizing power-on for TV with Player or Player with TV will also power-off those synchronized. Obviously not something everybody will like. These should be 2 different options.
- No options for power synchronizing with an AMP
- YES the Volume Control option now works with my AMP. Also Mute works.
Removed my HDMI-CEC blocker as it seems not to jeopardize my setup as a whole anymore?
Power control is open for further improvement using 8 options instead of 2 now (=AMP and TV individually with On and Off modes in each direction).

I noticed that NFS no longer works with ZDMC after the last couple of firmware updates on the Z9X- you can mount a share but not access any files. SMB still works fine.

 

Which brand amp? We tested the Volume Control of 6 amp devices was no problem.

 

Subtitle .idx .sub bug in native player is still there.

 

We will test all this this afternoon !!

My AMP is an Onkyo TX-RZ720 connected to a Philips 55OLED805 TV as mentioned in my stationary.
The HDMI-CEC Volume Control of my setup works correctly with other brands media players.

 

We tested Integra DRX-5.2. I think it should be the same as Onkyo. Maybe try another HDMI port?

 

Integra (and also Pioneer) is made by Onkyo and should be the same but isn't it seems (FW is not the same). Onkyo is one of the most sold AMP's.

Nasty all those small differences with HDMI-CEC for different brands.
Updated the item-30 with the brand specific information.

 

Tested Onkyo TX-NR686 it works perfect, so we don't know what happened there

Checking HDMI-CEC function with certain improvements.

 

Uploaded an example also for item-31 of the aggregated list: "Folder.jpg" with Music Player may not be shown always.

 

Thanks' for testing this. Found it finally trying all HDMI-CEC combinations on my AMP plus on my TV. When I set "TV speaker control to HDMI" on my TV instead of "TV Speaker Off" then it works. Also Mute works.

Strange that with my other media players it does not matter. Very confusing and can reproduce this.

Updated my list accordingly.

 

Does this work on Z10 Pro or is there another firmware for Z10 Pro

 

Only for Z9X I'm waiting too for 10 pro
