The Z9X is always released first, followed shortly by the others.

Your UHD 5000 will follow soon.

 

Ah ok. I didn't know this was the practice. Anyway i have the UHD3000 and not the 5000. My thought was aimed at those who recently purchased a 5000. That's all.

 

Zidoo shows the released firmwares only. If you like to try beta, look at the first section of each model in the Forum

Believe it or not... One more good faith update to HT on the Z9X could be the thing that pushes me over the edge to buy the new box by making me feel a little better about ZIDOO as a company.

I do think it will be a very long wait for the official firmware update to appear, if at all. The beta updates have for me have all worked fine. UHD3000

 

Why are the new units not using USB 3.2 instead of 3.0?

Is there a chance in hell there will be an update for the UHD3000? The fix for code included in some srt files would be good rather than me converting to ass format.

 

Really not sure what’s in the update for the DR players…

 

So now that we are able to run HT5 without issue on the Z9X, is there any reason why ZIDOO is holding back the last firmware upgrade?

 

My guess is it’s simply an admin problem. ie availability of staff. Generally it’s often a simple explanation in the case of small to middle sized businesses.
