I just discovered that the A8 does not have DSD Native multichannel output via HDMI port, while the A6 does. How is this possible? This is mind-blowing to me!!

 

A8 simply does not include HDMI output at all.

Yes of course I know this but I wonder how it is possible that the superior and also much more expensive model does not have the HDMI output, but on the other hand it has the HDMI I2S output

 

It is meant for the HiFi enthusiast using a dedicated Stereo setup with an AMP not even having such a thing like HDMI ports.

I own a zidoo 9x, but i'm having problems with it: when playing very high bitrate movies over SMB i have stutters, while the same movie over USB works without stutters.
Do you think this problem would be resolved with the Z9x 8K?

 

Are you running a WiFi and NAS system?
In my case, yes it worked perfectly. The capability improvements for memory, speed and configuration are quite noticeable. Even comparing Z9XPro and Z9X8K, it's worth to try!!

 

Yes, Wifi and NAS (kind of, a PC with shared external HDDs)
Does it work perfectly even with very high bitrate 4k movies?
The stutters on the Z9X appeared with 4k blurays especially with DV ones

 

Yes, my experience is a real advantage while playing back even with high bitrate 4k-100GB mkv movies.
In WiFi settings, there's no doubt, Z9X8K is much more powerful than Z9X and Z9XPro.

Hi, so finally does this player have the same hdmi audio output (Eversolo dmp A6) capable of having native dsd, and not converted pcm?

 

According to Zidoo specifications: Z9X 8K supports lossless music playback in formats like DSD (SACD ISO, DSF, DFF), WAV, APE, DTS.

 

I don't believe it has the same capability - it will convert to PCM
