    Hmm - doesn't surprise me.

Database housekeeping is pretty poor - and it's the same with cached images in .Hometheatre. But to be fair, in all the years I've used it while it's been developed, it's never caused a problem.

Personally I use local images which doesn't use .Hometheatre to store images - it's used only for online images. Also I tend to reset HT quite often so that cleans everything up.

Thinking of moving from my Z2600 to a Z9X Pro 8k and I have a storage question:
I currently have a 14TB drive in the internal bay of the Z2600. I'm going to get a hard drive enclosure for that drive and I'm wondering what would be the best way to connect it.
    1. Via USB 3 direct to the Z9x 8k
    2. Connected to my router and accessed via Ethernet.
Any advantages of using one over the other?

I don't keep a big library of movies\TV shows as I tend to watch and then delete. I've noticed that .Hometheatre store on the Zidoo just keeps growing. Currently I have

    \Backdrops - 726 files
    \Logos - 309 files
    \Posters - 400 files

The oldest file goes back to June 2023 - when I got the box. In HT5 Settings would 'Clear Data' in 'Library' remove all these?

I went to order a Z9X 8K only to find batch 2 is sold out. Anyone know when batch 3 will come online?

Clear Data completely resets HT and removes everything.

Email Futeko at mail@futeko.com and ask. They are very good at responding to queries.

Looking forward to reading glowing reviews!

@Markswift2003 Hey Mark, how's match resolution and framerate on 1080p 1.37:1 (aka 4:3) material handled by the new SOC?

EDIT - answered in DR thread.

Just wanted to check a couple of others, so I tried a genuine Full Screen, 1.33:1 (1440x1080) and an Academy Ratio, 1.37:1 (1480x1080) and both presented correctly in 1080p.
