The best form of storage is undoubtedly network storage - infinitely expandable and easily accessible to any client on the network.

But I assume you're talking about connecting by USB to the router so I'd probably just connect it to the Zidoo in that case.

If you're talking about putting it in a NAS enclosure then you'll have to be incredibly careful because of RAID and the way NAS boxes work.

Will my poster walls for music and HT automatically show up on the Z9X 8k or is there a procedure I need to follow. Assuming USB connection to the Zidoo.
Sorry if it's a stupid question but it took a lot of time to get things just the way I wanted on the Z2600 and I'd like to avoid starting over.

 

Good question, because after buying the zidoo 8k I thought about the more than 800 posters or covers of my movies that I have on my zidoo z1000 pro and how to automatically have them on my new zidoo 8k

 

I'd probably export NFOs and art on the old box and then scrape on the new box with NFO and art precedence.

There is a clever trick with "Synchronise Data from Other Source" that can be used, but it's a bit complicated...

 

Very happy with my UHD8000, the build quality is fantastic, very heavy stuff.
Coming from a UHD3000 makes the parameters easier.
The navigation (menu) is smooth and quick.

I have a question for Markswift2003, where is the LipSync menu location, it was in the MENU list (Advanced) ?
I have 300ms gap that I can fix with my Anthem, but I'd prefer using the Zidoo.

And I hope the aspect ratio could be fix by percentage like the R_Volution 8k does.
