What bug is this?

 

@crutzulee @NOP1050 my bad, I was looking for it at amazon too last night, almost order it

 

DTS tracks were reported as DTS+2 number of tracks. So Mono became reported as 3, Stereo as 4 etc.

 

I can't find 3D mentioned in specifications anywhere. You still see it mentioned?

 

He must be referring to the futeko listings, which is obviously not Zidoo. I wouldn't necessarily fault someone for thinking that though since Zidoo is such an odd company

I know where to find updates. Simply curious how Zidoo website didn’t show any support for the new products yet!! It may means the deliveries are not so close!

I do not recollect Zidoo ever posting firmware updates on a product not yet released
If anything after wards after a time there pushed for one just in case someone has bricked there new model .

 

That's right, I don't understand it either, I still think that shipments will not be regularized until August, I think that futeko is the most realistic shipment there is for now and it doesn't have a specific shipping date either.

 

What exactly is the issue with ugoos + CE? I have one of these boxes. It's definitely a bit buggy, but FEL works perfectly fine. Just curious what your complaints are. I certainly agree that it's too wonky to be a main HT solution. I use the zidoo for SDR/HDR10 always.

 

Not on the Z9X Pro - the fact this has its own app is very good news, I will watch carefully now.

 

Every new launch model has it listed in the "Zidoo Video Player" section on his e-shop. I am well aware that 3D is not supported, but he might be looking to eat some return shipping because that is clearly false specifications and carelessly copied over from last years models perhaps.

With the demise of Redfox, I just tried to load TMM on my M1 Mac (previously used Ember on a Windows 10) PC for ripping/managing, but I get a security message that Apple won’t open .dmg for TMM.

Anyway, I think HT4 is pretty great now for movies and TV shows.

 

Talking about firmware release not beta. Anyway let's see what's going on in the coming days!!

 

try again TMM (you did dload aarch64 ver. for M1.)
after "won’t open"
go to system settings, Privacy and Security, scroll to Security and select Open Anyway.

 

I suspect you have misunderstood. When I ordered a Z30 Pro there, I also got a confirmation that the player was about to be delivered. I have since canceled it, I once promised myself that I would never again buy a Zidoo player by pre-order.
I'd rather wait and see what the first happy owners have to say.
On Zidoo.de it still says 14 days delivery time, every day it says 14 days.

Have you received a consignment number, have you already received your Zidoo, which model?

 

Our bad, I apologise and it has been corrected.

It's not false advertising because we haven't been able to take any orders since those item descriptions were written due to everything being sold out. All orders were taken when the listing contained a direct copy of Zidoo's website description.

Saying that, If anyone wants to cancel their pre-order and receive a refund on the grounds of no 3D MVC then no problem, just email us.

As of this morning, there is no new stock despatch update. We await Zidoo informing us that our stock has shipped. I'd be surprised if any European reseller receives stock before us.
