    Yes they do.

In addition, because there is a video interface, you can access the player on screen although it's only the standard LMS web interface.

Thanks for clarifying. Zidoo adding support for this on all their video/audio boxes is awesome!

I agree - I've been using LMS (I still call it Squeezebox) since it was SliMP3.

I noticed all the music apps it supports similar to the Eversolo models. Will the 8000 support 7.1 Atmos files via Amazon through the hdmi port or will it be capped at 5.1 like the DMP A6?

Thanks for sharing. This is promising news and making me lean towards upgrading from a 5000 to 8000.

Hi to all! And thank you @Markswift2003 for all the informations. I also have a question for you. Could you please explain this function:
*Processing HDR10 static metadata (MaxFall, MaxCll) more accurately which shows higher brightness and deeper darkness level.

Is this some kind of dynamic tone mapping? If no, is there any chance the new architecture can support this kind of processing? (without using the LLDV "trick"?)

    Thank you!

Yes at first glance in HDR10+!!

HDR10+ is already with dynamic metadata. What I'm talking about is DTM processing on static HDR10 (as your NZ7 does, for example)

Correct, I just reread the documentation and it talks about HDR10:
*Processing HDR10 static metadata (MaxFall, MaxCll) more accurately which shows higher brightness and deeper darkness level."
    So to see with Mark!

    No DTM processing.

No idea what that blurb means, but it's the display that processes MaxFALL/CLL, the player justs reports them.

Possibly something to do with VS10.

Thanks Mark, also do we know if the Z3000 pro has the extra hard drive interface on the side, just like the z1000 pro?

I don't see one. The only unit with an External SATA connector is the Z9X 8K model.
Always liked those external SATA connectors and have a simple empty aluminium housing to shift a HDD in just to put it safe on top of a player. Come from my Egreat age which had those too.

Always use it when testing a new beta FW.
