The green label (FHD) disappear after playing the video.

 

It adds a long press function for RS232 control - extremely useful for cursor actions etc.

 

They should focus on playback…

 

I have not encountered any problems with this new firmware so far but I didn't have any before either.

 

It'll take at least another 1 ~ 2 days to confirm that the unwanted sleep mode is sorted for good. However, I'll start with the assumption that since this is listed as fixed, it indeed is fixed fully and completely. Fingers crossed, no corner cases are remaining.

 

There are no major fixes, such as DTS-X or DTS lip-sync problems, white level discrepancies in SDR and some HDR.

 

Has the problem of converting Dolby and Dts 5.1 DVD files to PCM been fixed?

 

Why wasn't I obligated to do this with Zidoo Z1000pro, ZidooX20 & Zidoo x10???
With several thousand audio files?
If it was there before, what is the reason it is no longer in the new firmware of tne newest harware?

 

The menu's of dvd and blu-ray improved at lot. Very happy with that. I can even select audio tracks on DVD again.

And everything feels smoother...

I just see some stutters when 100.xxxmb/s is exceeded in dv movies . . Sometimes I can replicate it..other times it disappears. Had this with UHD blu-ray Exorcist 3 .
I will check some more movies later

But still no optimized management of unwatched videos .....like zdmc or Kodi...it's distressing

 

I’ve noticed a few issues and improvements with the Zidoo Z3000 in the latest firmware:

1. Rewind Bug – When rewinding during playback (e.g., -2 minutes), pressing OK on the remote does nothing. The video remains paused, and I have to press Play to resume from the rewound position.

2. Posterwall Crash – Within the first two minutes of testing, while browsing Posterwall, the system crashed and returned to the main home theater interface. It seemed to restart because, for a few seconds, the drives appeared as disconnected. This issue has also occurred in previous firmware versions.

3. UI Improvement – The Detail View looks much better now. A dark overlay has been added to the bottom and left side of the backdrop, making text easier to read. I also think small cast pictures have been added (not entirely sure).

4. HDMI CEC Issue with Marantz Cinema 40 – The CEC problem still exists. Zidoo turns off the AVR but doesn’t turn it back on. I tested by disconnecting all other HDMI devices (even the TV) and changing cables and ports, but the issue remains. However, my old Zidoo and Apple TV work fine with the AVR.

5. Trakt Sync Bug – When Trakt is syncing, the Posterwall “Watching” section blinks and flashes continuously.

6. Audio Loss During Rewind – Sometimes, after rewinding, the audio stops completely. To fix it, I have to rewind or fast forward a few seconds, and then the audio returns.

Has anyone else experienced these issues? Are there any known fixes or workarounds?

Sadly not. Neither has the problem of DVD folder structures (Video_TS, Audio_TS).

 

Are these still with the Devs to be fixed ?

 

They're on my list so they're aware of the problems.

Nice update but still enough to do. Will try DVD and BD Menu's for improvements and add it here when my player gets the update.
Still feel my Z9X 8K a step back from my Z9X (yes 2 generations back) regarding stability and features working as they should.
Not using AV1, VS10 DV or 8K in any way and use an Eversolo A6 for Music so those goodies bring me nothing.

Curious to experience my Dune HD Max 8K when it comes in as I decided to order one.
Above all the claim that all outputs benefit from the TCXO crystal including even HDMI is very interesting. This above all for multichannel sound via HDMI. They seem to share that DAC crystal also for the mainboard clocking. Always wondered why that was never done.

I just listened to some Live Concerts on my Z3000 Pro, v1.2.05_G. Gapless on FLAC-Files works without problems here.
Strange that it doesn't work for you.
