They are in the final testing stage. The update is larger and has big improvements also new features. This requires some further testing.
Zidoo firmware Software release life cycle: alpha (internal, nonpublic) → beta (forum, beta OTA) → stable (forum, OTA, firmware download page)
@Hannibal_ http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/some-news-for-new-firmware.96615/ there you can find an official message. I hope to see the release next week. But mirror mentioned a few facts.
http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/eversolo-dmp-a6-beta-firmware-v1-2-05.96706/ Will give that one a try. Comments to be added by me in that topic.
Right. I have just plugged in my DMP A6, firmware version still 1.75 but Deezer could be found in the native apps section. I hope that means the Deezer connect will be operational as well.
It should have automatically updated to 1.1.80 when you fired up the A6. Try going to settings / about / version and tapping the small > arrow that should bring up an option to update online or via USB. Online update should take you to version 1.1.80 which is the current release. A new release may be available in a few days.
I tried both of recommened actions, software update manualy and via update app. But nothing happened, I am just getting a message / your software is up to date/. This is slightly annoying because the Deezer is telling me that the Deezer app will work only with latest firmware. Jolly good. Air Play works flawlessly, though
@Kresimir why don’t you load the file on a stick and simply install the last official available version? https://music.eversolo.com/dmp/ota/DMP_A6/v1.1.80/DMP-A6_R_v1.1.80_202308091729_ota-package.zip it’s mentioned in the first post
Success. I have encountered only a few hindrances due to misfortunate zip file unpacking. But it works none the less - straight from the first page. However, from the user perspective, it would be rather nice to update the firmware through WiFi.
I am experiencing the same, especially while changing Vumeters. Sometimes it takes 10 seconds on the app to show what the screen of the Eversolo is actually displaying
It could be due to various reasons: 1. Difference in screen resolution requiring rescaling 2. Network cluttering 3. Application misbehavior Have you got an Android device to test cast-mode there too?
