Good news @mirror. Regarding CD playback and ripping, I noticed that it doesn't find CD info and covers for many legit cd's. Some other times it does find the info but fails to retrieve a cover. I'll appreciate if you could resolve this issue as well
I think CD playback is quite difficult to get correct info as it should be based on some kind of online database
Of course it is based on some of the many online databases, but the one they use is missing allot of data of legit cd's
Ive been using Plexamp side loaded as it provides a much better user experience than that of the native music player. The only change id like is for it to use the EOS, lets see what this new plex integration brings……
Will the new firmware factory reset clear/erase all the streaming services login credentials? Really need this functionality so that A6 is fully reset to a brand new beginning. As of now, it is remembering the logins of the streaming services that were previously key into the Eversolo Native Apps (Tidal)
Is it normal that only 3 apps are installed after resetting to factory settings? I reset my DMP-A6 to factory settings and the only apps there are: CD, installation assistant, and update. Firmware 1.1.80
I think yes, although I remember having read that the apps are not actually present, until you try to use them for the first time; then they got installed on the device. I don't know where you can see the "available" apps, though... maybe under a category? say Music? Streaming?
As 'Apps' there are only these: The rest (included with the firmware) like Tidal, etc are not in that list, as I guess they are customized by Eversolo:

Second that. There is a definite need for a WiiM-like Amazon Music player interface. The Master Edition, delivered last week, is excellent in every way, except for a native/useable Amazon Music player. The side-loaded app does not provide a good user experience. Look forward to the forthcoming update.
