New firmware v1.1.60 for DMP-A6 release

I suspected a little... I just wanted to install google podcast in apk, thank you for this clear answer

 

Thanks for the new firmware,, lots of fixes…. I do have a few observations for further improvement

* cd playing is improved, but very occasionally if you are still navigating around, there is a slight glitch

* Album view in music, still no option for sort by Album artist / year, only on album title A-Z…
* Display Year for the album
* Album track - please group by Disc Number / track number
* Group Albums into one where there are multiple editions / bit rates and list in the album screen as to which version you wish to play

Any chance for an USB HDD support update? You may push me an interim version and will try.
For a Streamer not that crucial and the workaround using a single 2.5 inch USB3 does the job now.

I'm still on 1.1.30. It doesn't appears the OTA update.

 

You can download the ZIP file to the root of a USB stick and update manually. Don't extract the ZIP contents, just copy the whole file to the USB stick.

Just received my dmp-a6. Upgraded firmware to latest1.1.60 before even listening to unit. Used my Mac mini to format load music files onto the NVME. SSD with no issues. Currently listening to DSD 512 music files, omg this thing sounds amazing thru tube amp and headphones. Great Work Eversolo!

 

In my experience with Zidoo media players in the last few years, I think I've only updated via OTA only once.

We Zidoo old-timers are simply got used to do it via USB, and after a while I prefer that. Feels safer with the hash check and not worry about internet interruptions (it's not 1990's but just a force of habit, and not to say that Zidoo's server unreliable).

I can play Amazon music on my A6 but do not see an icon on my iPad for streaming services. Due to this I am unable to control Amazon music from my iPad. Any suggestions?

Albums sorted only by the name alphabetically. It would be great to sort albums by the release
date, if the date is contained in album's metadata
