New beta version v1.0.95 for Z9X PRO/Z20 PRO/Z2000 PRO/Z2600/UHD5000 release

Wish that feature worked for DVD ISO. Mine still plays the main title instead of going straight to the menu

 

why would it stop you using the better .95 f/w ?

so it takes a couple mins more to move a file over , its not like its so slow it causes bad playback via smb ,that still works fine

 

I just checked a bunch of my dvd files in my library. All the ones in folder structure opened with the menu when selecting that option. Most of my ISOs did but not all with no rhyme or reason as to why. For example for U2 Zoo TV which is a 2 disk set. Disk 2 ISO opens to the menu every time. Disk one starts playing the main feature no matter if I select to play movie or menu. However on the ones that did go straight to the main feature instead of the menu, I was able to just use the go to Root Menu in the options and it went there with no issues.

Previously I had some Blurays that wouldn't even play the root menu from the options.

 

My test is the 2003 Led Zeppelin DVD set. First, it’s a DVD, but Zidoo shows it as BD. If I click the BD button it just plays the main title. If I manually navigate to the root menu it works, but it would be great to have it go to the menu automatically

 

Wanted to report what looks like a small cosmetic bug. If you go into “more” on a movie to see the file information, and the movie has multiple audio tracks, the information for some tracks is not visible. See screenshot

You can arrow down to see sub information but you can’t arrow over right to see in this case the second audio track present

 

Update all working fine for me. HT5 defiantely snappier and fixed issue I was having with adding custom art

looks like the Z9X pre pro range is getting ht5 too

 

One remark. When watching one by one 3 or 4 episodes in a raw of Yellowstone , I am starting to observe the audio problems like: no audio after pausing and resume... or no audio for 40 seconds afer starting the new episode.
To fix the problem Z9X Pro must be rebooted. Using v1.0.95_G. I was observing the same instability at previous firmwares but for Foundation episodes.

not seeing the issue while watching bray rips i did of SG atlantis episodes made from 8 gig ish images using makemkv from the original bray discs ,and i watched 3 or 4 epis a day for the last week ,no issues

THE SAME PROBLEM IN ALL Z2000 pro UPDATES FW 0.65 , 0.85 , 0.95 THE DEVICE CAN NOT RECOGNIZE MY WD EXTERNAL HDD 10 TB AND 4 TB .

at the same Time on Basic FW 0.52 can recognize both "10 tb + 4 tb " HDD without Problem !!! just by All Updates CAN NOT !!!

I hope the Zidoo Tech. Staff work on this Problem , Please Please !!

Connect those drives to a Windows PC/Laptop, run error checking/fix errors, then try again.

 

I did it and does not work , my PC recognized them so quickly without any Problem, with Checking there are no Errors they are Clean no Viruses .

as I said the basic FW 0.52 can recognize them very normal without Problem, the issue in FW Updates all versions. in another word the Problem has NOTHING to do with my External HDDs.

FYI..my Z2000 pro connected to 2 units of WD external HDD (4TB each), i didn't encounter any issue from those FW (0.65,0.85 & 0.95)

 

could it be they were formatted using a Mac ?

someone was having issues with hdds not being seen cause hed formatted them on a mac device ,on earlier f/w
once formatted correctly ,he had no more issues

 

Hello everyone! Please support (if you agree, of course) the request to the developers to return square category icons to HT5. I updated my HT and now because the categories have become rectangular - firstly, they are less visible (there were 7 icons visible, now 5), and secondly, my square / round icons are cut off to fit the rectangular ones and look terrible. I'm talking about the category icons, which used to be colored circles by default.

 

am Talking aboout The big one 4tb My Book and also 10 TB is Big one , they come both with Power Supply .

 

Hey, I've got a huge Seagate hard drive (over 18TB) that's already full (with power supply) and I've had no problems with the latest firmware version of the Zidoo Z9X PRO. The problem is either hardware or it's your drive that's having a problem.
