I presume this is just a wrong meaning of not native English speaker. It should be just renamed to kind of : Track numbering ON!
Should the Apple USB Superdrive work with the .70 firmware? Or is a fix for playing and/or ripping still to be released?
@mirror can we manually add the GitHub file to allow SuperDrive to work? Or should we wait for a future update?
Added a paragraph about CD playback and ripping. As a test got myself a dirtcheap but USB3 type CD/DVD burner and plugged it in on the USB3 (Audio Output) lower port. It works for playing and ripping. Did not need an additional power provision or cable. With some CD's there are small hickups. Is it the CD, drive or the player? The brand is Rheme and the model is LT801 (found at its back). For sure it is a clone of something at € 21.50 inclusive shipping.
Can this option also be made sticky? It is not remembered. CD Ripper is reported as V1.0.0. which it for sure isn't anymore.
No it is Bol.com but there is a similar unit on Amazon. Updated it as I do get small hiccups with another CD. Need to try it on a PC and the CD with another player. Did not play a real physical CD in years.
It is caused by the DMP-A6 not that CD/DVD player. Interesting: connected it to my Zidoo Neo X and the same CD plays flawless. Also CD Ripper on it works but being an older version without MP3 support and no Cover lookup.
Hi, I manage to read/play **audio only** CDs , those with some extra video or other non audio bits are giving a "No CD" screen as result. (sorry if this issue has been already reported) . During the playing there are always small hiccups as described already by others (they seem like buffering hiccups). Once or more on each song. The ripping has been quite successful but with some CDs it doesn't work. I've tried to rip again those CD I managed to successfully rip and that works. It looks like some CDs are more welcome than others? I'm using a "Super Multi DVD Driver Hitachi GTC0N", in a externally powered case - see pictures Cheers
More tries. this time I got myself a Samsung SE-S084 that some people mentioned worked for them. I didn't manage to even read a CD. All I had was a rattle sound followed by a restart of the Eversolo. I plugged the extra USB cable to an external power source, to the USB out in the Eversolo, always the same result. I also tried using the USB out instead of the USB OTG, same results. Anyone else had similar behaviour? The unit works perfect with a laptop windows or Mac Thanks
Just activate SMB Server on the DMP-A6 instead. That is what I use. Combine it with the excellent Total Commander on your PC and all set.
