I do have two ethernet ports from the wall so I just activate them inside the fiber box.

I noticed that osd info is returning me incorrect audio track data.
I premise that I am using fw 6.4.42_G, on 5.1 track it is notified as 7.1
Maybe it is a small bug?

 

It's a bug that's been with us for a long long time...

I think that because there are many different formats of DTS-HD, it just reads either the commercial name and assumes it's DTS-HD 7.1.

Without is best so you're not tempted to load it with crap that will break it.

If you want to load it with crap that will break it, use the G version.

Hi, how did you manage to play files/videos from WebDAV? All I'm getting is that the files are able to be located, but when clicked upon, it will either say file cannot be played, or it'll spin and spin in the background and force exit the media centre.

Not worth it at all. And very bad firmware support, the new devices are buggy and no updates for months. Stay away from it.

Even the last firmwares on the Z9X are flawed and there is not effort in fixing. 6.4.42 was the last good firmware.

 

almost have the same problem...i download from my PC on other room and transfer it using my asus XD4 and tplink switch gigabit coz i use wired backhaul for my mesh network, on my Z9X i use WDbook 4Tb attach on USB3.0 port, every time i transfer a big data it only reach 20-30mBps, dont know what the problem, all port is gigabit and the cable i use cat6 with lenght no more than 14meters
strange thing on my asus apps, Z9X show with name "IEEE Registration Authority"

 

If I remember correctly, I had a bad/slow wire that needed to be swaped out.

if i used wifi5Ghz the worsed i get, only cap to 10mBps

yes...my utp cat6 cable 4wire was broken
after fix it everything work fine now, i got 95mBps
what i miss is maybe the broken wire is the one for transfering data especially for big data, coz for the internet work fine, its very helpful if you have lan cable tester, lucky me i have one
