Anyone can confirm if the new zidoos finally fixed the problem to download Portuguese subtitles?

 

And why do I have to take so much time and get a trailer for all the films? It worked for Zidoo before, and if they don't fix it again, I'll stick with Dune.
As for the picture quality of trailers, I don't care, it's not a film, it's just to show me roughly what the film is about, nothing more.

 

With Tiny Media Manager there are 3 clicks for scan and download the trailers and rename the files.
I am using Zidoo since a month and it is easy to me.

 

If you download your own trailers you can have multiple trailers, simply number them.

Avatar-trailer.1.mkv, Avatar-trailer.2.mkv etc etc

 

But basically you can see that the online trailer function works with the new players.
This has not been the case with the 1619BPD devices for many FW versions!

 

I know internal Sata drives are limited to 16tb but I assume no limit in capacity for external USB drives? I have 8x 20tb WD external hard drives connected to my NVIDIA Shield Pro and would love to move to Zidoo.

Can someone confirm I can use my current hard drives?

 

May I ask how you connect them? NAS on another room?

 

Via an Anker USB hub directly to my Shield which works perfectly. So I would like to do the same with a Zidoo device.

 

It works now on current players with the latest beta 1.0.95. The ongoing issue is that a) takes 20 seconds for trailer to start and b) it will probably be broken with next firmware!

 

Scaling/Zoom of content from 2.35:1 to 16:9 without black bars top and bottom and keep aspect ratio, will the new player with this soc allow this?

 

I just waited fot about 2 minutes, nothing happened. Trailer setting is ON of course and set to 3 seconds.
Starting the trailers manually also doesn't work, this might be the main issue, though

I'm on .95 and do have a working internet connection

 

The delay may happen due to internet bandwidth you got.

 

Trailers worked before and i don't experience any slowdowns while scraping.
Is there an internet speedtest in the Zidoo?

With the new v1.0.95 beta the trailers work again for me.
