v1.1.60 Beta version for Z9X 8K/Z30 PRO/Z3000 PRO/UHD8000

I was hoping this would resolve my issues. But in testing, it didn't. HT5 continues to crash when loading posters. So, hopefully the next update will address this...

 

What does IPR mean?

what is the difference between the three modes? TV-led, TV-led metadatabypass, and CMv4.0?

 

I would also be interested to get more details about the differences between those new modes.

Big explanation thread coming soon, but basically:

TV Led - is the original TV Led mode where metadata is processed in the player
TV Led metadata bypass auto - is where metadata is passed to the TV to be processed
TV Led Metadata bypass CMv4.0 forced - is the same as above, but CMv4.0 is forced

The last one is only for displays that support CMv4.0 and only if you are using a custom EDID that doesn't support CMv4.0.

For most people the first two options are the ones to choose and if you don't know whether your TV supports CMv4.0 or not, the first one is the safest.

With this option, does it mean that the TV/Projector will play the actual DV stream as it was mastered and captured on file without any processing by Zidoo? In other words real P7 FEL DV if it's present on the movie?

Maybe your right? I have just tried to update from 1.1.47 and I get your software is up to date no matter how many tims I check, Z9X 8K non G version.

Yes..........I have the receive beta version check box ticked before anyone asks

 

With Zidoo Z9X 8k I can't adjust picture parameters, like brightness etc. I can change the numbers but it has no effect whatsoever. Any ideas why? It was working.

 

Just to note i am on the latest 1.1.60 firmware update on my Z30Pro
Just show update box 1.1.38 continue loop after every reboot i do .

so for now unchecked all update tick boxes for now & working fine at moment with latest v 1.1.60 installed.

Yes but sometimes I need this setting. Do you know why it doesn't work?

 

As mentioned ive never used it ever so dont touch it .
