v1.1.60 Beta version for Z9X 8K/Z30 PRO/Z3000 PRO/UHD8000

Update for my Z9X 8K to new _G version has been removed! Try to update and says I'm on latest version. Hopefully that means a fixed version will be available soon.

 

Just updated to v1.1.60

rebooted box twice & powered off from the mains etc

but keep getting message pop up saying new version v1.1.38 comes up

but exactly the same new update log message as v1.1.60 but with v1.1.38 headline at top ?

Updating to v1.1.38 and the file size is bigger (71.63mb ) than v 1.1.60 & its letting me update to it ?

Maybe me being overly cautious, but MAC addresses are a way into a network...

 

Hmm - I think this differential firmware thing is causing a few issues - for now try disabling "Automatically Check For Updates"

ive disabled auto update etc
So no more pop ups for now & will wait for another firmware update later on …….then re check tick box again.

 

I don’t have that but I always turn off auto updates and get beta updates checkboxes between updates. I updated to 1.1.60 and removed the checkboxes.

Austin Powers vc-1 truehd now also correct a/v sync without using the new passthrough compatibility mode in audio settings. I checked that my main global audio offset is at 0 ms too.

When I seek in vc1 now the video plays in slowmotion for 1-2 seconds then plays correctly. Not a big problem but I did not have that before. I prefer that to the a/v sync issue.

 

No idea what's going on - my Z9X updated from v1.1.52 to v1.1.60 but didn't popup on its own, I had to start it manually, and my 8000, also on v1.1.52 won't update at all yet...

 

Still waiting for the 2.35 display menu function

on 1.1.60 and changed to dolby vision tv led to by pass as have the LG G4 ( if it makes any diff ? )

 

I hope it doesn’t mean I have a bugged 1.1.60 installed now? In any case it seems to work great so far… curious to see what others with a/v sync issues will see.

No - if it installed, it passed all the CRC checks so is fine.

 

I'm bound to ask where 1.1.52 came from? - I thought the latest was 1.1.47,which is where I updated from
