It continually monitors the folders so any additions or deletions are detected immediately.

It doesn’t pick up file changes (ie same file name) automatically, but you can do that manually from the info menu in HT.

Metadata can be manually refreshed from the poster context menu in HT.

 

OK - went ahead and updated to 1.1.47. VC1 playback is fixed (as reported by others) and nothing else appears broken

All TrueHD (Atmos or otherwise) and DTS-MA/X MKV's now have lip sync issues. LPCM & DD do not. Cranked in the 150-175ms offset determined by others and all lossless audio MKV's are synced (including Aliens & Abyss 4K!). LPCM & DD are now not synced, but I probably have only about a dozen or so of those (pretty old BD's) out of well over 1000 movies, so I can live with that temporarily until a fix is delivered. Granted I haven't checked all of my movies, but a random sampling of a dozen or so is encouraging.

Still baffled as to what is going on since the older boxes didn't have this issue.

 

Your experience matches mine with the lip sync and formats.

I have set my delay at 155ms currently for what its worth.

Having the date at the end of the file name will drastically improve matching.

TMM is the quickest & easiest way to bulk auto rename/append the date to your movie files. I've found its matching algorithm to be very accurate.

 

Pretty much a requirement for movies imo.

I don't do it for shows and have never had much of an issue there, but it resolves almost all matching issues I've had with movies. Anytime I find an unmatched title after adding content, it's usually because I had said date wrong and is a nice way to flag it to fix it.

I also find the year needs to be before my "(Director's Cut) or "Extended Cut)" inclusions or Jellyfin/Plex won't match it with anything.

 

+++ for Tiny Media Manager. I use it to scrape, rename and write NFO's. Then set HT5 to use the NFO and local art when scanning - fast and accurate.

 

Exactly. Just give up on HT5. TMM works 100% of the time. Just write the NFO and move on with your life.

Is there a way to remove unused apps and icons from the Music Player home screen?

 

Hello since the last update my zidoo z9x 8k restarts itself it does it to me 4 times the image freezes and the player restarts I did not have that before do some of you have had that or if this problem is known sorry for my English I am French

thank you for your answer I will try to reset after the first 2 times or the zidoo restarted it was not during a film after I had not had it anymore until today with transformer last knight but at the beginning after a few minutes the zidoo restarted by itself I restarted again after a few minutes I restarted a 3rd time and nothing

 

Question: is this sync issue appearing only with single hdmi devices? Did anyone try if using models like UHD8000 - with dedicated hdmi to audio only - the issue is present too?

 

How do we request more features for built in emby app?
I love the speed and drive mapping to use SMB..

But it's missing things from android app.

Like
- ability to play theme songs or video in background when on movie page. The android version (if you have the plugins) can have music for each movie and video playing in background while in movie page.

- ability to have Alphabet letters on side in all movies section.. So you can goto letter and scroll from there. The android app has this..

- ability to have a screensaver with movie art work (android version has this)

- In movies section, ability to group movie collections.. At moment all movies are separate icons.. In android version, you can have collections listed in All Movies section.. So example, star wars films will be under a icon for star wars collection..

Trailers don't seem to play.. Has error..

My picture quality and playback issue resolved by turning on HDCP and HDMI to Enchanced format after factory reset. I had checked if one of these option disable. It does have good playback. Dolby atmos better than ever

I have got only one issue when I turn on z3000 pro from standby mode. It does not have any display on tv. Until I turn off and on couple of time and power off soundbar which directly connect to hdmi sound (Second hdmi port)
