Paramount disks freezing at initial Paramount logo screen is not fixed. My one Paramount disk (Vanilla Sky) does play the logo OK but then immediately at a light blue screen! Can't get menu up from that screen.

No more frame-skipping @24fps! Is it only my impression or also the VC-1 codec struttering has been solved?
Yes, I tried the zoom functions: for me the most interesting option is the vertical or horizontal displacement...very very nice for people with VPRs and 16/9 screens during movies in Scope AR

Confirmed that VC-1 is fixed too on my end!

I still have the TrueHD/Atmos lipsynch issue! At first I was banging my head on the wall and then I saw it too in normal TrueHD in Austin Powers VC-1 and I was positive before it was only TrueHD/Atmos but it seems to be on all TrueHD movies with or without Atmos.

I don't have to put any audio offset on the Z9X Pro so that's odd to me.

I briefly tried the Plex search function and it didn't seem to pick up actors. I will talk about that in my Native Plex improvement thread.

There's a switch in preferences to turn the Audio/Subtitle options on/off on the details view.

Er, there's a custom zoom function (in the Aspect context menu when you're watching a video).

 

This update has fixed my TrueHD/Atmos Lipsynch issue. Before like you I had a 150ms Delay.

 

Great! Mine is still there. Don't know what to think anymore

 

I need to do more testing but it seems the frame rate locking issue (23.976 often locking to 59.940) is still present and may be even worse in this release.

I'd love to capture some logs related to this issue if Zidoo corrects the log upload feature.

 

Did more testing and turns out I am not crazy, I still have the 150ms lipsynch issue in all TrueHD movies, with or without Atmos. I need to put a 150 ms DELAY on audio offset for TrueHD movies but then the other videos with other codecs gets out of sync which is a pain. I would still like for Zidoo to check this out more as the 1.1.47 firmware did help for some people's setup like for @Alan Bates but not on mine.

Will update the TrueHD sync problem thread too with this.

Thanks to the Zidoo devs for the fast firmwares, things are looking better and better.

P.S. I only use MKV files.

 

I haven't done super extensive testing, but it appears the issue I had with half of my vc-1 mkvs is fixed

 

Thanks for the firmware. But sad to report that the physical Rewind button on the remote AND the on-screen Rewind button from pull-down using the arrow keys on the remote STILL does not work for me.
