I can confirm that this FW has a delay. I’m running through a Trinnov Altitude 32.

There’s also a number of other issues (which were also present in .38), so I feel like we’re all beta testers here.

I have issues with scanning large folders, issues with scraping data, issues with the rewind/FF being basically useless for anything more than a few min, etc.

But I can compile things and circle back.

VC1 Files are all out of sync. I have to set a delay and it isn't enjoyable.

Hi to all. A "new" out of sync issue I found out with 1080p VC-1 + TrueHD. I watched "Body of Lies" and it started in sync (with the +75ms global delay I needed to set to get things in sync). After maybe 10 minutes it then went out of sync. Stopped and resumed and it was in sync again. Another more or less 10 minutes and out of sync again. I tried to pause and play again but it was still out of sync. So I tried to rewind a few seconds and it got perfectly in sync again. This happened during all the movie: it plays in sync and after some minutes it suddenly goes out of sync. The "solution" to get to the end is to stop and resume or to rewind a few seconds and play again.
It's obviously very annoying and needs to be fixed.

I just stated that VC1 has issues

So?? I was more specific because, in my case, with any VC-1 video they start in sync (with the +75ms delay I needed to set for any content)... it's only after some minutes that the out of sync suddenly occurs (at least with TrueHD tracks... didn't manage to test with other audio codecs). Giving as much informations possible, I think is the best way to help devs understand what may be going on ;)

Mine starts off out of sync and stays that way, but mine is a TV show, Supernatural so the whole series is like this and the delay is longer than yours. I think it was +250 delay

    Any sample file?

After a week of use, my new Z9X 8K (1.1.47) is working faster/smoother than Z9XPro and with no other important issue than "sudden freezes randomly" each 20 - 40 min of play via SMB-NAS. Need to stop, back to main window, workaround and come back for new playback until the next stop in different position. And sometimes you need to restart the box to get it fully responsible. Really annoying!!

A sample file wouldn't be useful in this case. You need the whole file and to watch the whole movie to get the issue. If I just send you a clip, the issue may not occur

This only happens with non-standard PTS, it would be best if the whole file could be provided

I don't see anything unusual (it always played perfectly with my previous Zidoos - Z9X, X9S, X8)

PTS is a time stamp in the video stream used to sync audio & video, if it's adrift in the file then sync falls over.

Yes, same here, hoping for a rewind, say, frame by frame (short press), or steps of xx seconds (long press)

And the BUGS continue, this morning impossible to reach the website as usual! I had to restart zidoo 3 times in a row to finally have the site and my hard drives accessible....
So really unstable this zidoo :(

I can't get the player to recognise my TV is Dolby Vision capable when routed through my Denon AV Amp.

If I connect the player direct to the TV (Sony A95L), DV is detected and I can choose TV Led / LLDV

If I connect through the AV Amp it doesn't detect DV.

I have ensured I am using a high quality 8K HDMI cable to the TV, this cable works fine between the player and TV so known good.

The cable between the player and the AV amp is the one that came with the player, so I would hope this is a high-speed cable.

The Amp supports and passes through DV no issue, works fine with my 4k BluRay player.

I've checked all settings I can find, the default is pass-through so no configuration should be required as far as I can tell.

Anyone else using the Z9X 8K and a Denon AV Amp that has this working?

Yes, I'm using Z9X 8K > Denon AVC-X6700H > LG OLED83C34LA and playing DV contents without issues, in either player selection.

Yes I use a Denon AVR (see sig). No issues. What order do you turn on your stuff? Try TV, then AVR and Zidoo last.
