Are new devices missing HLG support or just missing from early specs page?

 

They play HLG just fine.

 

So company actually is counting on reneved hardvare to get a new customers right?
That's why all Zidoo devices disappeared from retailers. Looks like new stuff prices will be definitely higher, at least +$50-70 compared to old ones.
So bad, my Z10 PRO is just 6 month old. What to hope for older models?
Updates-Updates and Updates or someone else will make a CUSTOM FIRMWARE and then company's profit will be gone.

Zidoo has in the past also supported older models with new FW updates. I see no indication that it will be different this time.

 

I just saw the new UHD5000, Z2600, Z2000 Pro etc. They look outstanding can't wait to get my hands on them all and compare them. Hopefully, they fixed the Youtube trailer and made the poster wall a lot faster. Plus, add that feature of playing 2 videos then a trailer then the movie.

I noticed that on the zidoo web page, Z2600 is listed above Z2000 Pro. Upon looking further, the Z2600 has a second HDMI out for Audio only. Funny thing is the section which has the picture of the back of the unit on the Z2600 page describes it as a Z2000 Pro.

Otherwise, except for the UHD5000 (which has 64GB), the others have identical RAM (4GB) and storage (32GB). UHD has Dual PSU, Z2600 & Z2000 has 1, and finally the Z20 Pro and Z9X pro are external PSU.

 

It's kind a late but wish at least Zidoo 20 PRO series had much stonger and biger cooling fan, much larger ventilation holes and DUST FILTER.
Why I have thise suggestions? Because internal HDD's are really HOT and after 2 hr it overheats.
How i see the new one got everything identical except less HDMI input, less connections and less CPU cores. Only upgrade is RAM and A11 with few aditional support.
So what's the price guessing for 20PRO? $400 easily .
Will it outrun DUNE??? With this specs?

 

The last product from android 9 thinking that the box will stable is wrong. You see those Z9 box tons of problems. Firmware updates no more buy a new. HomeTheater old buy a new. So old is not stable is problem with newer software (mostly). Upgrading the new android os solve 90% of your tear hairing....

So the Neo. Only 1 updates firmware and beta is can't solve. Android 11 is out and firmware maybe do 3 update and get new because old tech cannot solve. OMG even the keyboard is not obedient. I do chinese so my fault lor. My music app is also not obedient too but android cannot upgrade.......... cannot click button.............. I an sure most problems can see from the forum you cannot? The 3 generation of box wash and rinse is not obvious? Dun want to argue in the internet and maybe because I bought in 35% discount

it's HDMi 2.0 when it's 2.1 for z2000pro, maybe a mistake on the page

 

Does not include UHD5000 and Z2600 yet but an excellent chart nonetheless

 

There is no HDMI 2.0 on any new device. It’s all 2.0 now whether they have actual 2.1 features or not.
