It generally doesn't really matter but I tend to use the Vertex - it also means you can have different EDIDs for different inputs if you use the Vertex like that (although Vertex 1 only has two inputs).

 

Thanks Mark....think I will use the Vertex as the zidoo is Performing other operations.....So can I just add the custom edid u made on here for the epson 6040...also would there b any point in a edid for my avr onkyo nr686 being added to the Vertex...(think the answer is no but just asking incase I'm missing something.)

 

No - no point adding the AVR EDID.
