A better solution. Just in the "System" Startup "add this: sleep 100 /etc/init.d/transmission restart /etc/init.d/aria2 restart exit 0
removed netflix fix. waiting for proper firmware fix. added openwrt repo link: http://forum.zidoo.tv/index.php?threads/openwrt-repo-russian-edition.4168/
hello all, does anyone know if it's set a dynamic dns (ddns for example) so you can access your TVBOX / NAS from the outside of the home network, I tried searching but have not found anything
Usuly a regular ddns like no-ip, then you will need on your router to redirect port but I have no idea witch port can be use in openwrt. Edit: Maybe by accessing via ftp server.
use a no-ip, router should have a setting for it. Open port 80 on router for your box IP. connect to the no-ip adress. should see luci page loaded.
Sure, I know it! But the problem is that I have already uin active service with no-ip. Making a new address on no-ip, it always redirects to the same service indoors. I must have done something wrong!
The idea is like this: no-ip.com point to your external ip external ip port XX ( 80 if its not in use) needs to be pointed to internal ip ( used by box) port 80 ( you do this setting in your router under Port Forwarding ) you connect to no-ip.com:xx and should be able to load the luci interface
I'll try it, when I came back to home. So I can should be able to load the luci interface and also the NAS service (all file), you know the port number of the two services? After Port forwarding if I connect to: no-ip_A.com:XX -> I can start the service A Exampe NVR/ip camera no-ip_B.com:YY -> I can start the service B luci interface no-ip_B.com:ZZ -> I can start the service B NAS address tnx
XX today works fine, is an http service, so works with the port 80. YY=Luci interface of X9S (should be 80, I'm not sure. ) ZZ =SAMBA (or NAS ) of X9S just to have access at all file of HD sata mounted on X9S, outside home.
Yes,luci is over port 80. samba over internet is a bad idea. If you want to acces your files. setup a FTP server ( port 21 in this case )
Hi here, I don't know if it is a tip ( and if it's the place to post it) but i have change all my rj45 cables cat6 for rj45 cat7 cables. This cables support more speed but more important they have a bigger frequency. Now when i click on a video, it beggins more fast (less than 1 sec) and the message "chargement video" (sorry i'm french) doesn't have the time to appear. i have no more lags. A little change but a good result
Yes. Cat 7 does have better shielding. So depending on your setup. There is a possibility to get better results.
