New version v6.4.68 for Z9X/Z10 Pro/Z1000 Pro/UHD3000/NEOS /NEO Alpha/NEO X release

    Hi!
    Is the v6.4.68 a special kind of beta??

    I wonder that the update menue of my UHD3000 still tells me that i am up to date with v6.4.65, even with the checkbox for receiving test version activated.

    Could it be that the v6.4.68 was removed from the update server??

    Mine say version 6.4.68_G
    This version can only be downloaded from the Forum as a USB via a memory stick etc.

    arecyou sure you have only installed the HT update that came out a week before the full firmware update? That HT small update whilst changing the way Home Theatre performs and looks was not a firmware update so what your Zidoo reports is correct.

    you need to go to the sticky post, the first one and get the firmware for the uhd3000

    But....
    Re 1.: Why?? If this is coming from Zidoo it should be using the update function integrated in the FW of the affected device.
    Re 2.: I am sure i did NOT because i do not use HT at all. HT is just a App. I do not see, why updating an App should impact the FW-Update?

    So do you only use File Manager rather than the Poster Wall (HT)?
    Most of the more recent beta updates have arrived via USB. It pays to check the sticky.
    The G version is to install Google store if you don’t want that select the non G version.

    • Just a clarification updating the poster wall (HT) doesn’t change the underlying existing firmware version shown on the update page.
    • The updated HT version number will be shown on the About page under Settings, the wheel icon top right on the Poster wall.
    • When you do a full update it also includes the very latest version of Poster wall (HT) along with everything else.

    • I don’t think anyone knows why Zidoo select USB rather than direct download. However on the Update page USB is shown as an option. So I don’t bother myself with the why’s, if that’s what they want I do it.

    Since the upgrade to HT5.0 with the latest firmware v6.4.68_G the local trailers have stopped playing (the local trailers are simply not detected anymore). Only online trailers play that too with a tediously long wait. Is this a deliberate change?

    Why does HT(4 or5), on the video presentation page, not display the default audio track icon, but apparently displays the icon for the largest audio track?
    Would it be possible to make this the logo of the default audio pist, or of the first 2 audio tracks?

    Is it just me or the new firmware player is over sharpening the picture? People on the latest model forum were also complaining about the player over sharpening things with default settings.

    Anyone having problems with matching TV series. Just copied over Star Trek: Discovery season 5 and it will not match. All other seasons have matched.
    I did the firmware update and the HT5 update prior to adding this series.

    Device is UHD 3000

    Yeah I was getting the "Soap Opera effect", it was my projector "Motion" settings. It's good now :p

    Same for all 5 seasons.
    Main folder = Star Trek Discovery
    Subfolder = Season numbered 1 - 5
    Discs ripped to BDMV
    Each disk named - STAR TREK DISCOVERY.S01.E01 in matching subfolder
    All matched except for Season 5

    STAR TREK DISCOVERY.S05.E01 - STAR TREK DISCOVERY.S05.E04
    \\SERIES\STAR TREK DISCOVERY\SEASON 5

    Not sure where this issue comes from, but anyone noticed SmartTube after the last update has sped up so that everything sounds like the Chipmunks? Videos from poster wall playing appropriately.
