Yes, HT 5.0 is now installed with this update. I haven't checked anything else, the update installed as all the others have for me, flawlessly.

Maybe it been a while since I’ve loaded one of these, but im getting a Google Play services keeps stopping error that never goes away after installing, is there something i can turn off to stop this ?

 

Installed without problem and HT 5.0 is still present........now see in use!

Install the non G version. If you really want the Google Service then install G version over non G.

 

Can anyone confirm if the version of HT5 in this firmware is newer, older or the same as the one in .apk that has been posted?

 

According to McBluna's APK table this version for Z9X v6.4.68 from July 26 has HT 4.3.05.
The latest release for Z9X PRO from July 20th has HT 4.3.03. Don't know what was released on the side.

I don't suppose the new firmware gives us the cancer like UI... but can anyone speak to the fixing of any playback issues they were having?

How about subtitles? I didn't change to the last version because some reported issues.

I'm pretty sure this is the final firmware for this box so I'll definitely be all in... but not until I get home

Is there a chance to improve the translation (I mean Polish) ?

There are some errors in the translation, I have already written about it but no response.
I wanted to help but no one wanted help from me.
Nothing has changed since the first firmware, even though I sent photos and descriptions of where and what could be improved

Translation errors will probably be the same on new 8K devices

 

I gave it a quick test on my Z9X. Major improvement in poster wall scrolling on HT 5.

Wow, I didn't think this would ever happen with Zidoo. This was one of the major glitches since the invention of HT back in the days when Kodi was factory installed as interface. The early stage of HT looked like it was designed based on handful of titles. With few hundreds it was chocking and difficult to navigate. The original core programming was carried for years with posters populating slowly (rediscovering) every time you use Page Up or Down.

Thank you Zidoo for fixing this. It's still not like iPhone icons flowing up and down bouncing of the edge but it will do

 

Do we have an update for the UHD3000 yet? I assume that is coming soon?!

As I said in the HT5 thread, HT5 compared to HT4 is a game changer for Zidoo. and has transformed my Z1000pro.

No, it does not give us Cancer UI, but new HT 5.0 (but version no. 4.3.05).
I found no problems, so far.
