1. The digital output volume adjustment is now upgraded to the EVC engine.

EVC engine stands for Eversolo Volume Control. It uses a unique volume adjustment algorithm to precisely eliminate errors at different gain levels, ensuring that while adjusting the volume, the signal shape remains unchanged, thus providing the back-end DAC with more complete audio information.

Friendly reminder: The digital output EVC engine supports volume adjustment in the range of -100 to 0.

I have confirmed that importing regular M3U files also works on 1.3.20. I am amazed and grateful for the prompt response.

 

Global playlists are a nice feature.

I tested it with local (SSD) music, Apple Music, Qobuz and HighResAudio.



Global search seems to work in a decent way too. But you do need to be a little patient as it takes a couple seconds before there are results from all services.

 

However my ‘TuneIn Radio service’ is at a different place than in most of these examples.

 

Ciao All, great enhancements mostly (in my case) on FIR channel separation: do you have observed some sound volume degradation like me? (now on A8)

 

You don’t need to turn on ‘independent balance’ for FIR filters. They are already left/right.

Volume with FIR filters turned on will be lower depending on how you made them and the ‘DSP gain’ setting (under DSP). As standard it is set to -5db but that is not needed, unless you boost something in Room EQ Wizard. Under EQ in Room EQ Wizard you can see how much ‘headroom’ you need for each channel (see under EQ filters to the left of the pop-up). Whatever the highest number is for right/left channel should be set under DSP gain.

 

I use Qobuz but don't see the function to use it

 

Make sure to have the newest app. Click three dots to add track or whole album to a playlist.

Yes, ‘Add all tracks to Eversolo music playlist’.

Clicking the three dots on the right of each track will allow you to just add that track to a local/eversolo playlist.

 

@mirror Global playlists was something you did not want to do.

Now that it is here, would you consider a way to save a play queue as an Eversolo playlist?

If people have a very large playlist on a streaming service but would like to add some local/SSD tracks to it, they would have to start over by adding every single track from the streaming service to an Eversolo playlist first and then add the local/SSD music.

It would be a lot easier to just start the streaming service playlist and have it show up in the play queue and then save the whole thing as an Eversolo playlist.

The new firmware has a Podcast subscription function. You can subscribe to any Podcast via RSS.

 

To clarify I mean Apple Radio that is within the Apple Music App.
