hi is this really correct? I'm not using the hdmi (because tidal atmos is anyway not working) but the 2 cinch analog. I thought with the analog input to the denon (x4800h) the a6 is my only dac here and the sounds stays analog (input for that is set to analog, not auto). I have no clue about all the technical details i was just assuming thanks!!
1. it's on, 2. I'm paired 3. I'm turning it off 4. I'm still paired 5. forever as written. no auto turn on with pairing request - which anyway would require an listening Bluetooth functionality
zidoo, pls post information how you use user data. I cannot find your data privacy regulations. pls post information how to disagree extended usage so at least gdpr regulations (mandatory option for usage in Europe) are in place
There is no Mic in the device and it is not a phone with matching data regulations. It is Android based nothing else. Sideloading works but is your own decision doing so.
I can answer it myself I guess. I'm using the analog cinch input on my denon with a mode called pure direct, therefore it shouldn't be transfered to digital and back. so, for me I don't see a reason for hdmi. I think the a6 dac is at least as good as the x4800h dac... (not compared or even measured in any way)
what do you mean? or what is that answering? data privacy regulations are not only a requirement for phones. if its easier for you, I also don't want a company to know what kind of music I'm listening, my network infrastructure, my paid subscriptions, my own music, my nas device... I was asking zidoo if there's a mic, I also don't think there is, why should there be one, but it's irrelevant what I think. as written, why are authorizations for it in the code for several apps, should be removed!! the way to investigate authorizations are completely irrelevant here? another guy might open it to search for a mic. if he finds one you tell him he lost his warranty? or are you talking about the Bluetooth topic? turning it off must be possible. period. I don't care how. bad enough that you have to download an app for it
I see that the discussion with Denon does not stop. Answer the man that this topic with and about Denon is already bothering me.
I haven’t followed the whole discussion, but I can tell you my personal experience and opinion over connecting a dmp-a6 to a 4800h: I did a blind a-b test with 3 friends, comparing the internal DAC of the Eversolo to a SMSL D400es and the internal DAC of the Denon. Of course in pure direct mode, so the analog signal stays analog. In short we all 4 preferred the sound of the Eversolo internal DAC over the SMSL, but they where close. The Denon DAC was not bad, but worse than both. Stereo imaging and depth and realism of voices was the strength of the Eversolo dac. So connecting it to an analog input seems the right choice, for me anyway. But remember, you can’t use Dirac or audissey in pure direct mode, but I don’t use that anyway because it messes with some stereo imaging, and I prefer that above a flat amplitude characteristic. My opinion, but others may find other things important.
If you want to hear a real difference plug a VanityPro HDMI dejitter and resampler between the Eversolo and your Denon / Marantz. You are missing out on DSD multichannel when not using the DMP-A6 HDMI.
i'm still experiencing issues with DLNA albeit less than with the previous release. I bought my unit loaded with the previous release so cannot comment but according to others it seems DLNA was fine at one stage. At the moment it's a waiting game of seconds, minutes or even half an hour until white noise kicks in and either destroys speakers or ruins pants so I cannot use it with Audirvana as part of my usual playback chain. As mentioned by others in another thread, this is not an Audirvana or DLNA issue, it's an Eversolo one.
Calm down, let’s let the stupidity of arguing nonsense in multiple languages die a deserved death. It’s embarrassing to see grown adults acting like toddlers over their toys.
Leaving aside the polemic with and about Denon, I also have a question...returning to eversolo. Does the equalizer in eversolo work with an external DAC via USB connection? Thank you
Yes it does, all DSP functions on the A6 apply to all outputs, you can have different ones for individual outputs be they analogue or digital.
I´ve seen many forums, but none are so confrontational and controversial discussed than politics and audio.
Mirror on the ASR A6 forum said on March 4th that new firmware would be released hopefully in 1 month, presumably for both A6 and A8. One area of improvement would be the replacement of the 15 step digital volume control procedure.
I've also feedback'ed all the bugs and limitations/improvements I noted down while testing the A6 to EverSolo's technical support and they have been acknowledged. To be continued...
