And that all happened with zdmc 20.2. But only on Z20pro Not on my Z10pro

If anyone has the new Stop Making Sense 4K UDH ISO or BMDV, can you get the Jonathan Demme Laserdisc Extended Cut Version to play from the Extras menu. I cannot get it to play at all. I was able to rip it to MKV as a separate file to watch, but I cannot get it to play at all from the menu. Just shows blank screen and freezes.

 

Can Z2600 and the UHD5000 model owners confirm that the occasional sound dropouts (using the secondary audio hdmi) that happens in previous firmwares are fixed in this latest one?

 

cant say I ever had sound dropouts on my Z2600 on any firmware version I've used.

 

I edited my post. It happens when the secondary hdmi port is used as audio.

 

I was using the second HDMI port until I replaced my recevier with a newer model and didn't have any issues.
Sorry but I guess I cant comment on your issue in my case.

 

I am using the secondary HDMI to send the audio signal to the soundbar since I bought the UHD5000 about one year ago.
I never had any sound dropout while watching movies (once - twice a week, I mostly use this media player for playing music through analog outputs).

 

I use Z2600 latest FW with the second HDMI to Yamaha RX-V677, I still have experience the sound dropout from time to time.

 

Don't know if this behaviour is new with 1.0.95_G, but the currently watching list keeps on dissappearing (i guess it has a timeout, and if i stop watching something for a few days, it clears out). Is this a normal behaviour within HT5? Can i change it to never clear before i watch the content?

The firmware on 1.0.75 does not have this issue. Issue started since 1.0.86.

 

got some choppiness on Furiosa remux yesterday, had to pause unpause to go away, really apparent on the panning scenes

not sure, i dont think i have ever had this problem, today i power cycled it and run Dune 2 and saw no problems.
Ill try and run furiosa again i know where i noticed the problem, maybe its a bug that shows itself from use? i have been using it a lot more then normal because im in vacation

 

I have updated to this version 1.0.95.
Very great ! Display speed in HT5 is fantastic.
Since then the Android Zidoo controller app does not display movies in posterwall.
Maybe is it due to differences between HT5 and HT4 ?
I have tried to re-install the Android app, but it is still the same.
I think I use the latest version 1.13.07 for the Android app.
How can I solve that ?

All crash if i try to use remote app (android or web).

HT5 freeze crash and restart when try to modify my collection with 3 tv show and 2 movie. Nothing working, if i try to move the covers order crash and if i try to press ok/menu botton (change cover, delete, refresh data ...) not working and crash.

 

The Mad Max Furiosa choppiness is intentional. That is if you see it here and there and not throughout the entirety of the movie. Basically a stylistic choice - gives the action a chaotic jerky look. Saw a reddit post which came into more detail about that.

 

i don't have this problem. all mkv > 80GB is perfect with dolby atmos.

 

some scenes were shot with a narrow shutter angle, basically a higher shutter speed in still photography terms, at 24fps this makes for a less motion blurred image and more of a rough chaotic feel.

some TVs will smooth it out more than others depending on display type, motion processing algorithms and the users own settings, LCD panels would be less affected than OLEDs and most projectors.

I looks correct for me on my Z2600, Shield pro looks the same.
