New beta version v1.0.95 for Z9X PRO/Z20 PRO/Z2000 PRO/Z2600/UHD5000 release

I hope we get at least acknowledgement of this bug. I've commented about it before.

 

I have a UHD5000 with 2 internal HDD and 3 USB HDD. App version 1.13.07.

When opening "Poster wall" on the app.
Only favorite are displayed.
Then in "category" "all"
It says "there is no poster"

On web I can get some poster to display, but after several lines, it stops updating.

I hope there will be an update for the app itself ! In order to make it work with HT5.

 

This came through as an OTA update. Nearly fell off my chair.

 

Are there any other forum members who experience when playing Dolby Vision files in some cases you don't get Dolby Vision but HDR10?

 

I'm having some trouble after upgrading to the 1.0.95 firmware that came through OTA on my Z2000 Pro. It looks like my shares won't stay connected, they seem to cycle from "scanned" to "not connected" continuously. I've tried ethernet and wifi and on either the connection to my SMB share won't stay up. I can get to my share from my PC and start a movie without any connectivity issues so it's looking like an issue from the Zidoo. Can I downgrade the firmware by installing an older FW locally?

I'm having with this firmawre a lot of HDMI drop-out (one every minute ; I never had this before).

I have 'old' equipment connected to the 9x pro (Denon AVR 4308 from 2008 ; JVC X30 from 2011 & a 'modern' TV from Sony ; circa 2021) and I guess it could be an issue with HDMI 1.3 / 1.4 of the Denon & Jvc. Did you had this king of issue?

To temporary solve the problem, I set up the Denon to send the signal to only one HDMI output (to the VP), but now I can't use my Zidoo on my TV.

 

Dolby vision file paused for a few seconds or a minute and when you resume/play the movie, the screen turns GREEN....Anybody experienced?

 

I have only experienced that with internal subtitles - but that was also some time ago... it didn't happen with external loaded subs.

 

That's an odd thing to say. What are you referring to?

Audio offset feature was implemented again in the recent beta firmware for the 8k lineup. @Markswift2003 and @mirror could it be added to the 1619BPD lineup as well?

Hello, let's see if someone can help me, I have a zidoo uhd 5000 and until the last update for my use it had always worked more or less correctly but after the last update it is a disaster, many files that previously played correctly now do not and It continually has errors.
And I have tried resetting several times and nothing, I would like to go back to the previous firmware.
Could you tell me what the correct way to do it would be? thank you.

 

do you have this Problem with zdmc or HT ?
I have the Same Problem with zdmc 20.2 and z20pro, with z10pro everything is fine.

 

I hope more updates are in development for these devices. I am still praying that SACD and DSF MCH gets fixed. Works in the new line and in the older one but not this one for some unknown reason.

 

I believe you have to flash the UHD5000 then install the desired version. Flash process here.

I am staying with 1.0.75 till folks are happy with a relative stable version.

 

Z9X Pro fw 1.0.95 facing sudden stop during a mkv movie playback, need to stop and resume. No need to restart the box. It happens randomly every 2-3 files.

 

Anyone noticed any issues on 1.0.95 with the audio delay feature. My Pioneer always seems to kick in audio around 10 seconds so I have had my Zidoo set to play after a 10 sec delay. Noticed last night it went to immediate play while the setting is still set to 10 sec. Causes a slight stutter due to handshaking via the hdmi so trying to find a work around to get the setting to take. May reflash to make sure a storm didn't corrupt something while I was out of the house but was working a week fine with 1.0.95 but now won't work every last movie I try.

I am setup to use both HDMI ports, video out directly to TV and audio HDMI to my surround.

 

Z1000 pro...no issues....sorry, in one of those moods tonight...must take my meds.
