Sorry I don't have this problem with my TV.

For the settings I also follow the recommendation of Markswift2003 and it is perfect with my equipment.

Unless I'm mistaken I saw a thread or threads about this problem on this forum with LG TVs a few months ago I think.

Maybe you should do a search with LG and dark/black crush on this forum to check.

There is a member who has an LG CX on this forum but I can't remember who.

Sorry, I don't have this problem with my Sony TV.

Unless I'm mistaken, I've seen one or more threads on this forum about this problem with LG TVs, you're not the only one and on the internet I see that it's not just with the zidoo.

You should do a search on this forum with the keywords LG and dark/black crush for example.

Hopefully you will find a solution.

Being smart doesn't mean being free from making mistakes, look at me, I make mistakes from time to time

I see that the problem does not come from Zidoo according to you but from TMDB and TVDB.

Your wish would be that Zidoo doesn't use TVDB/TMDB anymore and finds another way to do the scrape ?

I hope you won't blame me and it is only my opinion but what Zidoo offers is a damn good multimedia system for local playback of our video files even if there are some irritants for some.

Just one question: where can I download the black wallpaper like yours? sorry but I can't find it.

Yes, you just have to unzip the RAR file ''widget'' in the folder ''picture'' or the one you want in your Zidoo box.

How Can I enter certain data in the info that does not appear automatically?
For example, some DV movies do not show the box with the dolby vision symbol
Also for audio tracks I would like to manually enter the type of audio track.
