The problem is that the Zidoo does not offer me the 23Hz and 24Hz for selection because the Mitsubishi HC4000 projector probably does not communicate with the Zidoo that it supports 23/24Hz.
So I have to get the possibility to force the Zidoo to 23/24Hz.

I just noticed that EDID you sent is from a Philips TV, not a Mitsubishi projector.

    Oh sorry.
at the moment I saved the EDID, my control monitor was active and it's a Philips.
    I will do it again.

    Weird - as you say, doesn't support 1080p 23~30Hz
    Code:
    Short Video Block #1
      16 1920x1080p 59.94Hz/60Hz 16:9 1:1 1x . native
      31 1920x1080p 50Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      5 1920x1080i 59.94Hz/60Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      20 1920x1080i 50Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      4 1280x720p 59.94Hz/60Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      17 720x576p 50Hz 4:3 16:15 1x .
      2 720x480p 59.94Hz/60Hz 4:3 8:9 1x .
So here's that EDID with 1080p 23/24/25/30Hz added.

(just to note, it only supports 2ch LPCM sound - I don't know what you do for audio)

    @Markswift2003
Thank you very much, it works and I can now use 24Hz natively on the Mitsubishi projector!

    I just changed to a JVC x590r (RS440) projector.
Can you help me create an edid for this projector?
    Thank you very much

What do you want it to do?

Do you need jvc rs440 edid for editing? I just need to edit the edid to play LLDV properly with the brightness of the JVC RS440

Ok - send me your EDID and I'll add 400nit LLDV.

Theoretically you would use 100nit which is the lowest value you can use in the Dolby Block, but that doesn't work well - it's too dim and the projector can't compensate, so we can compromise at 400nits and then all the specular highlights are handled by the Dolby algo.

I'm afk for a while so it will be later. Make sure you reply to this message or @ me so I see it.

You may need to upload a custom gamma using the calibration tool as well - not sure how good the built in gamma on the 440 is.

    May I question this?

The JVC X590R is a relatively old projector without HDR capability.
So what is the 400nit LLDV for?

I myself use a Z9X Pro and in future a Z9X 8K and have a JVC X9900 in the cinema.
With the Z9X Pro I use the VS10 engine and play everything via SDR and this also works very impressively.
Only with HDR10 4000nits is the picture sometimes too bright but sometimes also too dark.
The SDR picture looks best with pure 4K DV (without HDR10 core) .mkv files output in SDR.
This usually looks best and very HDR like.

Is there any information on this that I have not yet understood/find?

    Many thanks

jvc x590r is an old projector, it's 4k e-shift 5 but still supports full HDR
    X590r other name rs440 same x5900
    X790r other name rs540 same x7900
    X990r other name rs640 same x9900

Oh sorry, I was confused by the three places.
In Germany, I'm only familiar with the X four places.
    I have an X9900 myself ;-)

Ok, that's mega confusing - that EDID already supports 400nit LLDV.

That EDID didn't come from a JVC RS440 - the Manufacturer ID for that EDID is AGC which is "Beijing Aerospace Golden Card Electronic Engineering Co.,Ltd."

The idea is to use a BT.2020 LLDV EDID to fool the Zidoo into outputting LLDV in BT.2020.

Since LLDV is essentially Dolby tone mapped HDR10, if you then activate the projector's HDR mode manually (or load a custom gamma and set the PJ to BT.2020) you have the benefit of true Dolby Vision on a non Dolby Vision display.

I understand. That EDID is of the ezcoo hdmi splitter. So maybe it is not necessary to use the edid generated by zidoo anymore. Thank you again

    Thank you very much.
I will test it, but does it also have an effect on my VS10 SDR output?
For example, the brightness distribution in HDR or DV in SDR?

No, completely different - one is SDR the other is Dolby Vision.

Yes, I already understood that, but I use the HDR/DV VS10 engine to convert to SDR.
So it has no effect on that?
