My EDID has the extension bin. The program sees only the dat extension.
If I change the extension to dat the program gives an error)

I don't know how to use it, I just installed it and have a look. Maybe it's good that it doesn't work)))

    You need to choose "File/Import/binary"

And then export as a Binary.

I don't know why, but literally every EDID editing program seems to have been written by a blithering idiot!

So bottom line to whom it may concern.....
I have a sony oled with Z9x pro.
I have a problem with udh menus from paramaount, arrow videos and Canal plus.
If you use Mark's adjusted edid and implement it on z9x pro you will benefit from the following:
Uhd menus from Paramount pictures will play smoothly but the problem with udh menus from Canal+(Angel heart,Basic Instict,Total recall) and Arrow videos (Conan,Dune etc) will still presist.
Changinh hdmi cable with a certified one did not fix things any further.
Mark, if you have Total recall (1990)(Canal +) (and ofcourse the time and the mood) may be you could take a look at it and fix it like you did with Ryan.....
Also Flash Gordon and Dune ( 1984) is Arrow Video, you can check it out also...
Update:After many tests the paramount uhd menus sometime they play and
    sometimes(most of the times) dont.....

I figured this out. I recently started gaming again with PS5 and started having random black screen issues caused by hdfury vrroom, so reconfigured again.

I now have my sources including zidoo going to the hdfury, then hdfury audio output to my AVR and video output direct to the projector. Solves all the issues with the only downside being i lose OSD for my AVR.

Anyways, now magically Zidoo sees all the LLDV variants as options again

So I guess the lesson is the order of your chain matters. I don’t understand exactly why, but it does.

Not so much the chain order but the order they boot up - If you have the Vrroom (stupid name!) after the amp then the amp must be booted before the sources in front of it can see the EDIDs from the Vrroom (stupid name).

I do what you do - in my case, a Vertex, but it's in front of the amp with 3 sources connected to it so whatever happens, each source always has the EDID from the Vertex squirted up it regardless of the power condition of anything else.

In the other configuration I would always turn on projector, AVR, then source.

I have a new BenQ W5800 projector that uses HDR10+ but in doing so shuts off a crucial contrast enhancer so I want to be able to send HDR10 but NOT HDR10+.

I have tried the built in EDID but none accomplish this, should I try this one from page one - BT.2020 HDR10?

Ideally I want Zidoo to send SDR Rec709 for SDR and HDR10 Rec2020 for HDR which it does now except it also sends HDR10+ when available, that is what I need to stop.

Yes, BT.2020 HDR10 will do that but probably best to export your own EDID, post it here and I can remove HDR10+

    Hi,
I have a Mitsubishi HC4000 projector in my bedroom.
This can do 1080p with max. 60fps, but also 24fps.
The Zidoo does not offer 24p.
So I need an EDID with 1080p, SDR, REC709, 60/50/30/24/23.976fps

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks

I'm not very familiar with EDID.
I have a Z9X Pro in factory configuration, so I haven't changed anything.
Custom EDID is off and I have only tested the other 4 or 5 custom EDIDs that are stored.
I think the Mitsubishi is not communicating its EDID correctly.

These are its maximum supported formats according to the data sheet:
    1080p 60/50/24p
    SDR REC 709

Is HDMI version and HDCP version also important for 1080p?
I don't think so, do you?

You were given instructions on what to do... why not follow them first and post your EDID so you can receive guidance?

Your EDID supports all frame rates at 1080p:
    Code:
    Short Video Block #1
      19 1280x720p 50Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      4 1280x720p 59.94Hz/60Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      31 1920x1080p 50Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .
      16 1920x1080p 59.94Hz/60Hz 16:9 1:1 1x .

      2 720x480p 59.94Hz/60Hz 4:3 8:9 1x .
      21 720(1440)x576i 50Hz 4:3 16:15 2x .
      6 720(1440)x480i 59.94Hz/60Hz 4:3 8:9 2x .
I tested your EDID on a Z9X Pro which makes my box behave exactly the same as yours and all modes from 1080p23 to 1080p60 are presented as expected. What firmware are you on?
