I think this a question better asked in a Dune or Ugoos forum!

I have documented it in other threads but basically my LAN speed is not fast enough to stream 4K without issues. 1080p and below are pretty much flawless but if a 4K there are problems. That is why I have to use a HD in the device.

Hello, for people who are still having problems with compatibility with 3D not being activated, will you offer a compatibility solution with a fix in the next firmware? THANKS

This is multilevel problem never documented anywhere by Zidoo.
Auto 3D playback depends on 4 factors:
    1. support by EDID - but you can edit EDID to force the compatibility,
    2. Two specific settings (one in settings, the 2nd in the playback menu when its already started)
    3. The file name convention must match 3D type encoding, e.g. (Movie1 3D SBS.mkv or Movie2 3D TAB.mkv)

If all factors are correctly set then Zidoo automatically plays 3D in frame packing mode and TV detects it correctly and switches to 3D automatically. And this is actually the problem for older setups. Since 3D is always outputed by Zidoo in the frame packing mode. So if you are extracting HDMI RAW audio to the old AVR (like I do) that does not support frame packing... then you hear nothing. So I have personally abandoned auto 3D switching by Zidoo and I am outputing 3D as 2D flat (since all aI have are SBS or TAB) and do the switching to 3D manually at TV level. This is affecting 3D picture quality little bit since frame packing done by Zidoo definitely does better upscaling of each eye frame then my TV does. But in ma case I had to decide to something - no audio via AVR (audio only via TV) but better 3D... or worse 3D video but RAW HDMI audio via AVR.

My EDID shows not supported but typing/adding 3D TAB/SBS really helped me.

This micro stutter is really annoying. Constantly seeing frame drops. This happens within every 2-3 minutes. Will it ever be fixed by Zidoo team?

You're getting no "heavy lag" when playing 3D movies?
My OS becomes too laggy to operate for 3D movies.

Its an occasional frame drops or skipping frames that becomes too noticeable while playing movies.

No any 3D lagging in my case. The only difference in that mode is that playback menu or media info (if are displayed overlaying 3D movie) - then this overlay is just choppy, but not the video itself.

    你能发送 85 固件下载链接吗?

I remember few Z9X pro users reported laggy OS for 3D playback few months ago which is not thre case with older Z9X model. eg. if you're wanting to change audio or subtitles it will show lag and you're not switching/toggling through options easily.

Can you send out the 85 firmware download link?

Any idea when the .83(I think) firmware may actually see the light of day as a beta or official firmware?

    83 is no longer relevant
Firmware Zidoo Z9X Pro v1.0.85(_G) appeared (internal test version)
Here the probability is greater than 65/75/...85) when it’s just not clear

Thx, I’ll wait for the beta or official version. I’d prefer to not risk my 2000 by using internal test firmware. Beta is not ideal but it has better safety than a internal test firmware.
