This FW brings smooth playback no stuttering. Vs10 HDR is very good quality but after playing videos in vs10 hdr i selected (auto)in HDR, Dolby vision lost colors then i had to factory reset it.

 

Still no vs10 hdr for sdr only

ZDMC is not part of the firmware and has not been officially supported for years.

Those who already updated their z9x pro units with 202401042050 I believe should update boxes again... It is the 3rd time Zidoo has updated 1.0.75_G for Z9X Pro firmware since 4-Jan-2024.

For Z9X pro:
1st version payload.bin md5 hash is: e2992b09dbfa10e722e0f716a45e5c3d - released 202401042050
2nd version payload.bin md5 hash is: 1c86da1f66434f3e1bb3c0534a6a6633 - released approx 10 hours later but with the same file name 202401042050.

3rd current version payload.bin md5 hash is: c8e2304f1346a7b5c2927abac6d534af - released 202401091550 - at least they have correctly updated the file name this time.

 

I'm in 1.065, OTA update tells me I'm up to date. Yes, beta is checked.

Same here, I finally did it with the file from mcbluna. Strangely, once completed, it went back to the update screen and asked me to do the OTA update, although it displayed version 1.075 installed... So updating again now.

Edit: it asked me again to do the ota update after.. the ota update. I unchecked "beta" in the update page.... one more bug.

 

Same issues here. No OTA available with only a message saying I'm up to date. Downloaded from McBluna and installed now the Z2600 wants to do the OTA. Go figure.

Still has the problem with multi-channel .dsf files only playing back in stereo.

 

I also, after installing the firmware update to 1.0.75 from the McBluna file, after each reboot the player again requires updating to 1.0.75.. The only thing that helped was unchecking “check for updates automatically”

 

I've rechecked the md5 checksum of the firmware files with the one from the Zidoo server and everything match.

 

I think the Devs did a misconfiguration on the OTA server. Requesting if an update is present for 1.0.75 should give "latest" as answer and not the 1.0.75 update again.

 

After updating to 1.0.75, at least three people have already received a message that the firmware needs to be updated, and it appears after every reboot of the player.

 

I got it as well but I unchecked the options and it went away. Once we get confirm that the issue is resolved, I will recheck them.

 

Issue with HT4 hi-res soundtrack FLAC 96+ khz files is not yet resolved with this firmware.

 

Nope - I've passed it on to the devs with samples but so far it's been ignored.

My advice is resample the files - it'll take a few seconds.
