I have an update from zidoo ..... there has been delay in manufacture. Shipping is now possibly end of july, more likely august but may even be delayed further. I am very dissapointed as i was told before the technical team were testing and release was imminent. Sorry folks but i guess its better to know than not. David☹️
The subtitle and audio track in Zidoo X9S When choosing a Media Player, some of the very important factors are the use of Audio and Subtitle tracks. The convenience of complete subtitle types will have a profound effect on the user’s experience. We invested in the research and development of said technologies and as a result, some interesting functions were developed and operating procedures have been optimized. Let’s have a closer look at this uniqueness of the ZIDOO X9s: 1. Downloading subtitles Automatically ZIDOO X9s has the ability built-in to automatically download subtitles. To do this, whilst a movie is playing, click the button “download the subtitle” and the ZIDOO X9s will automatically match corresponding subtitles and start with the download. When matching more than one subtitle, you will be presented with an option to select the subtitle closest suited to your movie title. 2. Force Subtitle support Some movies come bundled with encoded subtitles for secondary languages spoken. The secondary language spoken operates with this tag. ZIDOO X9s, unlike other TV Boxes, uses this “Forced Subtitle” tag to show the selected language tag when secondary languages are spoken. 3. Choosing a subtitle from a path Sometimes subtitles are stored on a storage path, ZIDOO X9s unique function can use any storage path to select and play subtitles. 4. Customizing subtitles The ZIDOO X9s has the ability to not only customize the Size, but also Location, Encoding and Color of subtitles. 5. Default Auto Option In most cases you do not have to select the Audio and Subtitle tracks as these will use the Auto Option default, based on the System Language. 6. Convenient selection of audio tracks. Using the audio track menu will present you with detailed information regarding the audio track and the information will enable you to intuitively select language and types, making the selection of subtitles easy and convenient.
