Android TV is very different from android OS, it's close: no modifications or manufacture personalization is permitted.

A little comment aside. Can someone explain @Markswift2003 the structure of this forum? The thread about the new Z9X is totally wrong here in this section. Here is RTD1296 and sub-thread Z9S! And its not the first time. The thread about HT was also posted in the sub-thread Z9S. But HT is also for other players like Z10 for example. This wrong postings will confuse newer members and because of the missing Zidoo employees nobody correct this.
@Nice Monkey I think I have one Pixar title I can try tonight. It did play my Bourne DVD that has alternate beginnings, endings, theatrical and uncut version on the same disk which the Z9s had major problems with. I'll also check to see if I have others in my collection and let you know.
Sorry for the late reply. I don't have any Pixar titles like I thought. My Bourne DVD is the only one I have that I think uses seamless branching (theatrical vs uncut version). I have a Bluray that has UControl and UHear features that work, but I don't know if that uses seamless branching or not.
Looking very good! Specifically the HDR features are a pleasant surprise. I heard these work very well with this new RTD1618 SOC. Some will like WOL a lot including power-on via Zidoo Controller too. No HW changes from the first entry. Got just one SATA again like X9S but frankly a very few must be using two concurrently. Now for a due date and a price.
Dolby Vision VS10 engine looks interesting ....... Hopefully resolved 4K playback dont look washed out in colours / brightness on a 1080p screen . That would help me out .
Great to hear just need announcement of the Z10x and ill be ordering it I wonder if a colour change of silver finish will change to a diff shade ?
