Please give an example where subtitle download will indeed find: e.g. German, Dutch, Danish, Turkey, Greek or Hebrew subtitles. It should also be possible to permanently disable all Chinese hits. Again I see lots of Chinese and sporadic English subtitles that is not where Europeans are looking for using this feature.
Hello Martin, No and this is a good news, they will take a few more days to optimize the software of the X20 / PRO. The X20 / pro will work with an android 6 FW and will go to android 7 FW later. According to zidoo team, the banding / stuttering / etc ... will be fix with this android 6 FW. Let's wait and trust zidoo
yes, because this new FW will also be available for zidoo X9s / 10 and I think that's good news, they try to fix as many problems as possible.
So, if I understand it right. They will release X20 / Pro with FW android 6.xx in the end of May and also will release new FW for X9s and X10. And later they will release new FW with android 7.xx for all devices?
But still is there some hope for android 7 for X10? I don't believe that it's limited by the hardware.

At $450... I think it's going to be a hard sell. Especially since the major problems of the X9S haven't been fixed. First thing and most important to me is proper playback of 23.976 frames/sec it has serious stutter problem. Color banding with 4K content when not in 4.4.4 colorspace. DVD playback has aspect problems and does not play in its native resolution. Get rid of the black screen when changing resolution or frame rate. FORCED SUBTITLE SUPPORT! Seamless Branching But then, if they fix these problems why would you need to buy a x20? In all seriousness, what are the "real" improvements of the X20 over the X9s?
New firmware addressing 23.976 im hearing And id imagine other issues banding ? More memory 2 x internal drive bays Seperate Hdmi Audio and Video output for some who have older amps etc If your in to Audio Newer remote ir / Bluetooth / learning Some will go for it as it may tick there box some will see no benefit on upgrading But it will be the new flagship for Zidoo range . Id prefer a newer X10 pro same size but better chipset and a slim cd rom drive above Display ? At least we are getting upgrades and Android 7.1 Fingers crossed they address issues some are getting / seeing .

Other than the memory... I guess I'm one those who don't see any improvement. If that's all the X20 is getting what will the X20 Pro offer? A better DAC and power supply? Seems silly.
