After you update via ota update app with zip file some tv will not show anything on screen. It can take long time. Do not remove thumb from zidoo when it restart.

Every time i try to do normal way to flash it will stuck on UP__. I have to do it second way with another 4 files. This is not normal...
Something is wrong. I can't flash box using reset button methon because UP__ boot freeze. Only way i can do it is second method with four other files. But i cant update OTA in any way :/
Seriously, you're doing something wrong. Here is the .IMG file usb key 8gb max / FAT32 plug the usb key into usb port 2 use the pin hole and turn on the X10 when "up ..." appears...release the pin hole wait a few seconds and the hard reset will start Your X10 is not broken or bricked

another things it happened to me with the zidoo X9s my receiver did not send a signal to the tv during the hard reset and I had a black screen I had to change my choice on my receiver for example select tuner or dvd and return to zidoo
Im doing same steps as you apart 8gb stick. I only have 32gb :/ You think that is the case? Always stuck on UP__. I think reset button works because without pressing it I would have something else than UP__.
Here in Canada we can buy those small capacity thumb drive in discount store and convenient store or drug store.
