It showed up this morning for me as well now. Maybe it's released in stages worldwide.

I actually have to correct myself and also what @Galactic said: Pictures Parameters settings work perfectly in SDR and HDR10. They don't in Dolby Vision, but I actually don't know if it was like this also before and ment to be this way.

That's by design and how it's always been. Dolby don't want you to mess with it...

Must admit it's one thing I agree with them about - these settings should be adjusted in the display, not the source.

I don't totally agree and will explain:
    1. If you have your sources connected to a receiver or pre-processor, they will all be output to the same HDMI. So you may need to do some adjustments for only one of the sources and you can't do that on the display or VPR otherwise all the sources will be affected.
    2. On OLED TV you should never touch the luminance default settings. Now things got a little better and easier because some models have specific "shadow" settings adjustments that can get the job done (on black crushing, for example), but I usually prefer not to adjust that way.

Good evening, everyone! Why doesn't the set-top box play HDR 10+? Torrent is the Lord of the Rings.Rings of Power! There is no HDR 10+ icon on Samsung TV! HDR only . there is a Ugoos SK1 tvbox next to it on the same processor and it plays HDR 10+ perfectly. There is an HDR 10+ sign on the TV.

My UHD 8000 updated automatically last night, but FURY UHD ISO is still not playing. It starts to play and then goes back to the main page. It's a little frustrating because this particular movie played fine on the UHD 3000.

My Z9X 8K supports HDR10+. Just tested on a Samsung and a Panasonic TV, the HDR10+ logo comes up and the HDR10+ is confirmed in the infos:

Thanks a lot for the reply. I was tormented (I tested several films, changed all certified HDMI cables).... and still couldn't achieve HDR 10+ ! Everything plays perfectly with ugoos! Do you have any special settings? Thanks

i put in 120 delay ( to the left of on the bar) And now everything seems spot on.

Before it looked ok in sync..but as you..i saw some movies out of syc...just a tiny bit.
But if i focus on it...it is hard to say what is in sync or not.

No! My HDR settings are simply left to Auto and for the rest I basically followed Mark's suggestions you can find here:

I just tested a bunch of TrueHD files with this update that I was previously having this issue with. Seems fixed now. I did not make any changes to settings after installing the update, and did not use the new passthrough compatibility mode. @Markswift2003 It would be nice to know if there was a change in the new firmware that could have fixed this. A fix is great, but a fix on purpose is even better than one by accident, as I'd rather not worry about this happening after future updates.

    Hi Mark
I have attached my Oled Edid. But I have noticed DV colors are not too warm (yellowish) like before. Let me know about DV should on Auto or forced.
    Thanks

Experiencing an odd track skipping issue with Music Player 8.0. Extracted M4A from a few BD-A 5.1 discs, and when I play the albums, every other track gets skipped (i.e., I’ll play the album, and after track 1, it plays track 3). This happened with Fleetwood Mac Rumours and Guns N’ Roses Appetite for Destruction. Occasionally 1-2 seconds of the sequentially correct track plays before skipping to the next one. If I manually select the skipped tracks, they play fine. Any explanations or suggestions?

ETA: I just “reset music library” in settings and added everything back to my library and that seems to have fixed the every-other-track issue.

what his text stated is that you should use auto, on my part i felt some stuttering on auto and that didnt occur on forced.

so maybe just try to se if you feel any differencé? and if there is no then use auto?

to use force your tv need to support 4.0. and as he stated before your tv prob. do if its manufactured after 2020.
