    New user here.

Just got z200 with Intergra DRX8.4 and Sony A80J. I'm struggling to get DV rips made with DVDfab to show up as DV. I've opened a tkt with DVD Fab about this..

But in the meatime, I've noticed when playing back a 4K title and I click the info button on the Integra, I'm not even seeing the HDR 10 indicated in the source. If I play the same file with my Oppo 205, I get at least the HRD10 indication in the file being passed thru the Integra. I hope I described this well.

So I'm not sure what's going on, and would appreciate any help.

I suggest you do 2 things.

Firstly post the Mediainfo output of one of the files. Someone on here my spot something.
Secondly extract a one minute clip using MKVToolnix and upload to somewhere like Mega. Share the link here and this can then be tested by other Zidoo users to see if get same issue.

Are you are referring to @Jeff G. post with the mediainfo report? If so its from a full bluray with DV. It has two video streams - the second carrying DV meta data. The Z200 will play back in DV - or it should do!

I tried to post a link to my clip here but this site won't allow - threw up error message about "spam or inappropriate content"

What's weird is that after using the MKVToolNix to create it, MediaInfo shows the HDR info as being DolbyVision AND when I view the video info on the Zidoo while it's playing, it lists it as DV. However, when the clip plays, I just see the HDR10 flag on my Sony.

Sometimes, I can get something to play and show the DV logo, but most often - it's just HDR10.

I think you get that message when you are new to the forum. Post it in a way that isn't the full link. If you used Mega all links should start with

So don't post that part. Just post the rest - it will be something like 'NJ5QhCTI#Koj4CWySIhAKHDUiwIxyIPdVnhmfZuJK-4-W4RA9OMo'

    Here it is:

UPDATE - I connected my TV directly to the Zidoo and the Dolby Vision flag is now appearing on screen.. so somehow it is the Integra which is stripping out "the bits" 'l'll open a ticket with Integra - this should not happen with a top of the line AVR

Got it and as suspected plays in DV without issue. So not a Zidoo issue. Oh and I recommend you restrict future clips to 1 minute and not 10!

Thanks! At least I know the Zidoo is working as promised.

Sounds like the Integra is mangling the EDID so the Zidoo doesn't see that DV is supported (some of the more esoteric equipment has a nasty habit of doing this) - can you post your EDID here - I can probably fix it.

    To Download EDID
    ================

    Settings/Display/Custom EDID/Save EDID

Save to a USB stick or network location.

Change the file extension from .bin to .txt to upload to the forum

(The forum won't accept .bin files)

I have a little good news.. I plugged the Zidoo into a different input on the Integra and I'm now seeing DV flag on TV at program start! I suspect there was a kink in the cable as it was a tight fit.. i don't know if this is valid or not..

Anyway, here's my EDID - I would like to learn more about this

When I select Auto for frame rate my only choice is 1080p @60fps. WTF? For now I've got it at 2160p @60fps. 23fps causes lip sync and stutter problems.

Don't understand what you mean. Auto frame rate setting has no bearing on available resolutions. They are defined by the EDID.

I have a question about organizing and navigating Movies with Special Features on disc 2 (or blu-ray w/ 4K title).

So I think I got the hang of selecting the blu-ray w/ menu to view special bonus features. But if you look at the screen shot for Barry Lyndon - I have A or B or ? underneath the movie classification.

Can I rename these letters to say "Movie" and "Bonus"? And when I hover over the question mark, I get strange programming codes that I'm confused about...

    Can anyone guide me here?
    Thanks 20240325_132303.jpg

You can use the following to change the 'A' and 'B'

    Barry Lyndon.(1#Movie).iso
    Barry Lyndon.(2#Bonus Disk).iso
