    Long winded post alert: :)

I know it's a small thing to some, but, a lot of older TV series and films have been remastered in 1080p 1.37:1, or other variations close to 4:3 (most 80's and 90's TV series as an example) so if there is another f/w update (and, I know, this one was a blessing and I'm happy), is there a chance that this bug could be looked at? I'm sure it does not just affect the DR range.

If you select match resolution and framerate, it should do just that (edid allowing of course). I'm suprised Madshi (Mathias) has not rasied this, as pretty certain he uses the Zidoo range too for his MadVR Box showcase.

Personally, I'd let the Zidoo upscale sub 1080p to 1080p out, as probably a lot of TV's would do a poor job of 480p etc to 4k, even if the edit allows it (but you could argue the case for pure resolution matching).

Thanks to anyone who can tell me about the improvements in the Music Player 7 update. Maybe a future version with MP 8?

And it really has increased the boot speed of the bluray iso but some still do not work. For example the Paramount bluray iso of Top Gun: Maverick and Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One, they continue to boot but then they do not continue.

Upgraded my UHD3000 with no issues.

When selecting disc playback, should ISO vs BDMV load times be the same for either format? I only have a couple of ISOs and they seemed to load a bit quicker. Once running, performance was fine for either.

Here are some examples: (All are UHD)
    - Saving Private Ryan (ISO)
    - Jurassic Park (ISO)
    - Almost Famous (BDMV)
    - 2001 (BMDV)
    - Jurassic Park II (BDMV)

Launching either one did result with HDMI sync issues (out of range, no input). My player is set to match frame rate only.

Still stutters on blu ray movies
    1 dune
    2 dune 2
    3 civil war
    4 fargo 1996
"my dune Dune HD Real Vision 4K Plus" plays them smooth with no problems
Of course there is no support when the system is configured in the Hebrew language
The subtitle and audio menu are empty

There's something wrong with your setup..I have all of these movies ripped 1:1 in my library and they all played flawlessly before and after the latest firmware...

Do you have these movies in blu ray format?
Except for the movies I mentioned, the rest of the things work without problems

I have them in UHD.. Are you saying there's a problem with them specifically on 1080p BD?

edit.. I read your post more clearly... I have a simple Z9X... and I see that there is a stuttering issue on the PRO versions...That's weird.. I'd be hopping mad.

I'm talking about blu ray files with a blu ray menu
The video is 4k hdr or dolby vision, the audio is in dolby atmos format
I think this is the cause of the problem
I play other movies including blu ray with dolby atmos and I have no problem with them
My receiver is a Denon AVC-X6500H

With this new firmware, the USB audio output no longer transmits the MQA stream. I have some albums in MQA and the MQA logo no longer appears in the external DAC. Everything in MQA is converted to 88.2Khz. Even Tidal connect does not work with hires formats, everything is castrated to 44.1khz 16 bit and does not go beyond. This new firmware is a real rip-off

As I’ve never used this facility, I haven’t a clue! Maybe try it and see what happens? As it’s a collection of different titles HT won’t find a matching film, so you would have to create an entry similar to how Mark Swift described. Possibly look for a near match and then edit to suit.

I have a Denon x6700h and feed LLDV to a JVC projector... I use the ZIDOO predominantly because I just want to watch the movie and don't want to mess with BD menus... so all my discs are ripped to full bitrate .MKV files...I have absolutely NO stuttering or audio dropouts.. both of which I had in the NVIDIA SHIELD... I guess the BD menu option introduces it in the ZIDOO boxes?

    Good evening,

Thanks for this update for our old Z9X :)

    I noticed two problems today:

    - I have the UHD BDMV Rip of the film Aquaman 1. If I launch the film with the menu, it works but the film launches in 60Hz instead of 23.976Hz.
However, if I launch the film directly from the media library without using the menu, it launches at 23.976Hz.
BD Menu management is still not Zidoo's strong point :(

    - I launched an .mkv file with a subtitle track and I couldn't manage to deactivate it while I was watching the video. I had to remux the file with mkvtoolnix and remove the embedded subtitles for it to work.

The mediainfo in the file didn't indicate anything special.

Have other people noticed the same problems?

    Thanks in advance
