New firmware v2.0.15(BETA) version for ZIDOO X9S release

New firmware coming soon? - there was a post somewhere on the Kodi forums that the next firmware would address the Coco/Thor playback issues and the 23.976 frame issue among other things.,,

 

hope the new firmware can fix the unstable especially for auto switch
this is not too important, with the former firmware VP9 can play well
but now VP9 almost cannot play or very laggy

 

Yes hopefully some time in may for new firmware .

 

Lets hope they will finally fix the 25fps bug.
If not, i switch to new AMD nuc.

 

as i remembered this box can play 1080p h264 10bit
but when my friend ask me to try it recently, it cannot play at all
my friend want to but this box too if it can play Hi10p content

after i downgrade the firmware and tried the content 1080/720p x264 10bit
and all firmware still cannot play the content
maybe i missremembered it

 

h264 10bit is only used in some anime, and no the box can't play it. it can play 10 bit hevc (h.265)

 

i though maybe box with S912 from Amlogic can

 

Unlikely, but you need to search yourself

 

remeber reading somewhere theres almost no media playters that can do the japanese animee because of its format

it all has to be converted to a normal standard first

 

i have S905X box and its very laggy
but with RK3328 box some smooth but bigger bitrate is laggy
just thinking, maybe S912 could play it well
i had tested many box, but just forgot which one could played it smooth
