Something in these firmwares or in Ap Android are not right!
After the update and even after doing a reset the apps won't connect to the device.

 

Does this mean the A6 now has discrete on and off IR commands?

 

Deezer, Internet Radio and Radio Paradise is now fully integrated.

Only OFF. IR is not available during the power of state so 'power on via IR will never come'.

 

I've been turning my A6 on via IR via a Harmony remote for a couple months now. And how do you think the ES remote turns the unit on? By IR. It is BT and network that aren't available when the unit is off.

It seems, my A6 has refreshed to the newest 1.80 firmware, I have Deezer and Internet radio and everything that's new. Yet, when I go to check the software version under the 'About' tab, it says 1.75. How is it possible?

 

Hhhmm mine says V1.1.80 correctly. Under about.
Factory reset?

Updated the APP via the Googel Store too. Version reports correct.

 

@betula mine updated earlier today and has the correct version. Did you try rebooting or powering off completely & restarting? If that doesn't work, see about trying the upgrade again

 

No but it's a lot better.

 

I tried a reboot and powering off/on as well, no change. When I try to manually update again, it says I have the newest fw. And it does seem I have the newest fw, but when checking the number is still says 1.75. Mystery.

 

I would do a factory Reset.

Handling big folders with many tracks:
200: folder load 1-2 seconds, play 4-5 seconds
2000: folder load 10 seconds, play 55 seconds
It is safe to say that the current maximum is 100-200 tracks.

The lyrics lookup window now opens and closes using the same A (Artist) button.
That is is a lot more intuitive .

I am getting now a very disturbing color flickering line at the bottom of the screen in cast mode.
It does not happens always. Will try to find what triggers it.

 

After updating both the firmware and the Control App it appears that the API's for neither Tidal or Qobuz are yet fully integrated as the "radio" function for neither app works still. This is not a problem when tried with Lightning DS, MConnect or JPlay for IOS.
