What exactly does “Fixed the problem that some videos cannot be played” refer to? I’ve got ISOs for UHD Blu-rays that only display a black screen. Alternatively when ripped as a BMDV folder, they play fine. Would further compatibility for ISOs happen to be what this is about?

 

If everything works, there is a lot of interesting points ............... so to see !!

 

Installed it.

1) Ethernet speed reporting works. Good informative new feature.
2) Selective downmixing for DTS and AC3 found and seems to work. Good feature as specifically TV's may support DD but not DTS. Updated my post here accordingly:

3) Webdav and Baidu features found but did not trying using these myself.
Could anybody explain to me why I would want these on a media player?
4) Weather APP works still does not find my city (was promised to be fixed)

Google Play services:
- It once showed the GSFID but next boot it was gone
- Once managed to start the services but next tries all failed "Not certified error". Got full services not only the play store when it worked.
For sure something was done but definitely not solved yet.

What are online playlist? How and when do I use them?

If items on my aggregated problem list are discovered as solved will report here and update it. For now I think this not the case.

I am a but puzzled about the FW change priority. Frankly expected some firework for HiFi models above all the Neo players but that may still come?

Have they fixed the annoying audio delay when video comes out of pause?

zidooBlurayNavigation.apk 1.7.6 <<< the same , again no update .. the 1.7.5 was better, a lot of things still worked from the 1.7.6 it has become significantly worse.

 

After updating to this fw, my Z9X booted up, showed Hello, then the clock on its display, but I have no output on the HDMI which connected directly to projector.
Projector indicates no signal.
I tried pushing reset button on the side, then plug in power, but same issue. Can't boot into system to factory reset.

Any suggestion on how to fix this?

Probably an HDMI mode that the projector doesn't like - try pressing the "Resolution" button a couple of times to cycle through resolutions - leaving time between presses to allow the PJ to sync.

Nah. Two scenerios:
1. Pause and then Play - 1-2 seconds break without audio.
2. Press 1-9 on the remote to forward 10-90% of the movie without pausing - 1-3 seconds break without audio.
