I'm hoping, when the fw for the Z1000 Pro is released, that Music Player - item 7 above, resolves the mess that exists at the moment with DoP. These were itemised by @Nice Monkey as: - 3 / 3a on the relevant thread.

 

What does it men? How does it work?

My OLED LG E6 does not list 1080p 25 or 50fps in EDID. The TV is capable and works fine with both frequencies. If I have "auto resolution and frame rate" selected the output from Zidoo is at 60Hz. I have to manually set resolution and refresh rate to 25Hz in order for the movie to show at correct cadence.

Will this "Custom EDID" allow for manual addition of any mode we like?

Probably allows LLDV output on non DV displays. But I'm just guessing, still download the FW.

 

@DevlopperWEB81, I already researched my TV EDID. It's not listing 1080p at 25 and 50fps and 4K has 25fps missing. TV works fine with all resolutions and refresh rates. I need to let Zidoo know that it is OK to send 25fps in native frame rate to my TV.

 

No only a lot of extra VS10 mode .. if you want to have LLDV on Not DV display, you have to use a HDFury ... that work, but the picture is not better. the display still not DV ;-)

still issues with scanning ( in HT ) a NFS folder on a synology. And only one, the other one works. In Media manager all NFS is fine.

SMB scanning works on all syno folders, but ( still ) gives freezes with UHD rips.

OK we now have about 12 different HDR settings.

I have an LG CX which is a DV TV. So what should my setting be for the following material?

SDR
HDR
DV

Is choosing LLDV the better option over any on the VS10 options?

please, could you explain this better Mark ? Are we able to force LLDV without having to spoof the EDID via HDfury ?
