Beta version v1.0.86 for Z9X Pro/Z20 Pro/Z2000 Pro/Z2600/UHD5000 release

The truth is that if Zidoo released a firmware that left the BDP decently I would speak well of them, not leaving their clients who have already spent money wasted.

 

There's no real delineation between public betas and public releases. There's no such thing as "final" firmware.

 

So basically this latest beta 1.0.86 is the final version with that number? I didn't mean final as in total finality in firmware development for this unit...

- 1.0.86 without beta prefix as in finished version
- 1.0.something with beta prefix
- 1.0.something without beta prefix
What I'm asking is, is it a new firmware or just renamed 1.0.86 beta.

Zidoo really hung customers out to dry.as with the last range and you have know for months there was never going to be a fix that worked.It seems if anyone wants to express an opinion you want to put them down Have some respect for what others think. They have had to put up with units that still don't work properly and paid good money for them as for not informed I have had 4 Zidoos so I know these units too I am entitled to my opinion the same as others to be honest you have the most condescending attitude for a Super User ! No. It will be a new beta with a name something like 1.0.93. It won't have a beta prefix but it will be a beta. That's how Zidoo roll with firmware updates. 95% are betas with the occasional non beta. If you look at the Zidoo website for the Z9X Pro (https://www.zidoo.tv/Support/downloadList/target/[ld]yN+vBjptVBKKmVViAFMcQ==.html) the last non beta firmware is 1.0.52 dated 24/07/23! Every firmware since then is classed as beta.

 

The problem is not so much you giving your opinion, it is just you repeating the same type of statements over and over and over....... as if you think that it will somehow magnify their effect. I can tell you for certain... it doesn't. Not only that, it now seems you have resorted to interjecting a negative comment about Zidoo not related at all to what your issues are just to reinforce to everyone how mad you are. It just turns more people off as to what you are trying to say when you hit people over the head with it. We get it, you are not pleased. If you have problems, the best thing you can do is communicate them to Zidoo support, provide sample files, debug logs or constructive thoughts or suggestions instead.

 

So again no right to complain about poor support ? You do make me laugh from the 1st day I had a Z20PRO it did not work and is still not fit for purpose . Do you really believe Zidoo have given a good level of support on this range? You happily bemoan other brands as being inferior yet won't allow complaints about the units.Were is the Firmware updates to fix basic problems? Zidoo just don't respond. No matter who you complain too nothing gets dealt with. The attitude of some on here is worse than the product. I can't wait to see the comments on the new units lol

Since the new 8k model is now available, can anyone tell me about the picture quality difference compared with The z9x pro? The 8k model is worth upgrade? The AI picture feature really plays pivotal role?

 

The new models are not released until the end of this month.
