Are online trailers working for you or not? **NOW INCLUDES 'POSSIBLE' FIX**

I reset all my security settings and it didn't change anything

I don't know what to do anymore...

 

Me too for 2 days the trailers no longer work......why???

 

Yeah, just noticed that yesterday it didn't work for me in both boxes.

 

and what do we do in this case???

 

It maybe servers issues, in such case it will come back within day. Otherwise we've to wait for next firmware (to be expected after Eversolo release)

 

in my case, everything was working fine and during the night I had a power cut (my internet box restarted)...
the next morning when I turned on the player, the trailers were no longer working!

 

Mine have been working over the last few weeks ok disconnect the player from the power and network and when I connected everything up again NO Trailers.
Seem strange, my IP address is locked to the player on an IOT subnet

 

Could be I have had it before were the trailer worked ok I disconnected and they didn't work but a day after they did

 

It seems like a firmware (1.1.60) bug. Let's hope devs fix it asap.

 

yes you're right, I'll wait for the firmware update...
I tried everything and it didn't work so I'll wait...
but it's a shame to have a good player and no trailers!
I hope it goes quickly...

 

I doubt that it is firm 1.1.60, because it was released more than a month ago and it worked..............only two days that he unlocks!!! Besides, lots of very annoying "little bugs" will soon make me bring out my old Z9X...........

 

Could be temporary, but trailers not working this morning on my DR box.

 

The only ultimate solution at this time is to download your own. With correct naming you can have multiple trailers for each movie title. Catching up for large collections is a problem but once done it’s easy to keep up to date as one adds titles. I know this is not the solution anyone wants to hear but I suspect this is going to be an on-going problem.

 

Trailers working perfectly every time since 2020 Z9X, Z9X Pro, Z9X 8K...

 

Sorry, I don't want to be controversial here, but that's akin to me taking my S Class to the dealership because the air con is not working and being to told to open a window.

Wrong on so many levels.

 

I prefer constructive answers rather than useless answers like “it works very well for me”!!!

 

You did get an answer.. you just don't want to hear it. download your own trailers and use local trailers playback only. Well worth the little project to add them to your existing movie files.... and then for any new file you add, it becomes part of your normal ripping process.

I was being flippant, but hey, I have always had trailers working 100%.

And because most are full HD video and either DTS or AC3 5.1 sound, I guess that's more akin to taking an S-Class to the dealership because I'm annoyed that a the window sticks occasionally, which is innevitable with Mercedes, and being told that, actually, it has aircon, when I didn't understand how to switch it on.

 

Still got trailers though.
