Are online trailers working for you or not? **NOW INCLUDES 'POSSIBLE' FIX**

I prefer constructive answers rather than useless answers like “it works very well for me”!!!

It's not as though you can personally fix it. It just seems to me that Zidoo might want to look again at how they integrate that feature.

 

No trailers: It maybe servers temporary issue affecting to some areas only or firmware issue but it's clearly affecting to a wide group of users now. Let's devs to take care of that when they were available (seem missing)

 

I download my own however I tried the automatic download and no trailers available in Sydney on my UHD3000. I changed the DNS setting in the Zidoo from 8.8.8.8 to 1.1.1.1 but that made no difference. So my guess is it's a server issue as it was working on mine shortly after I updated my firmware to Firmware Version v6.4.68_202407311333

 

Yeah, I do believe it's servers temporary issue. Although DNS doesn't make any difference, I've changed server location through NordVPN and the issue still persists.

 

It's usually due to YouTube changing obfuscation in their API to stop free use.

 

Yes my thought , these companies don't like leeches presuming Zidoo don't contribute
My trailers were okay until I disconnected my player and reconnected it? I'm on the new firmware.

 

Yes did the same but nothing in the UK

 

Just for your information, the online trailers for DUNE are currently not working either.

They aren't working for me anymore and they used to work always.

It's a YouTube issue. I think Dune have the same problem at the moment.

 

I know someone who got the Z3000 pro recently and they are still able to play trailers at the moment .
Me I have decided to start using Tiny Media Manager it's a lot of work in the beginning especially when you have a large movie library (1400) but it is worth it in the end because you can choose the resolution of your trailers and the trailers load instantaneously no waiting to download and you know that they are going to play, I would recommend it to any one. Great program where you can choose your own cover and fan art and lots more
